Martial Marquis Memorial Temple (Wu Hou Ci) is dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the Martial Marquis of Shu in the Three Kingdoms Period.

Jinli is the name of an old street in Han dynasty .The ancient Jinli was one of the oldest and the most commercialized streets in the history of West Shu and had been well-known throughout the country in Qin, Han, and Three Kingdoms Periods.With Qin, Han, and Three-kingdom cultures as its soul, the social style of Ming and Qing dynasties as its appearance, the West Sichuan folkways and customs as its body, the new Jinli Promenade, supported by Wuhou Shrine, has condensed the essence out of the worldly life in Chengdu: teahouses, inns, restaurants, bars, theatrical stages, handicrafts, local snacks and specialties.
Located in the south suburb of Chengdu, the temple covers 37,000 square meters. The date of its establishment is unclear, only that it was built next to the temple of Liu Bei, the emperor of Shu. It was combined with the Temple of Liu Bei at the beginning of the Ming Dynasty. Surrounded by old cypresses (柏树)and classical red walls, the temple evokes nostalgia(乡愁).
Later on, Chengdu gradually became one of the most important centers of politics, economy and culture in China.
hibiscus, because the king of Shu made his subordinates plant a lot of hibiscuses in Chengdu. Even today, you can see many hibiscuses beside the streets .

Being in the list of Chengdu Historical and Cultural Prote ction Project,Broad and Narrow Alley is composed of broad alley, narrow alley and across alleys, among which, there are a lot of traditional courtyards, or Siheyuan.
Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, lies in the hinterland of the Chengdu Plain, in central Sichuan. Chengdu enjoys a long history. 2,500 years ago, Kaiming , king of ancient Shu in the Zhou Dynasty (11th century ), started to set up the capital in Chengdu. A town was built in this area in the first year and the capital in the second year, so the ancestor named the city as Chengdu, which means to become a capital.

Du FDuu TFhuatTchhaetdchCeodttCaogtetage used to be the former hone of Du Fu, one of the greatest poets in the Tang Dynasty. Located in the western suburbs of Chengdu, the spot is marked by a stream, ancient style architecture, pavilion pagodas(阁塔) and age -old trees.
