Money or Love

As we all know, love is one of the most beautiful and romantic things in our life. But nowadays more and more people put money in the first place in their marriage.

But in modern life, there the many things l et us do that. Even our parents told us that you will never marry with a poor man.

I agree that money is an important thing. But A perfect marriage should be based on love, which is about your happiness of whole life. what do you think is true happiness? Have lots of money, live in a big house, or wear expensive clothes?

I know you think they are just for a short of time. But have you heart a old saying in China:” When poverty comes in at the door, l ove flies out at the window ”.In short :”No money No honey”.

NO!!The true happiness is from our heart. and Love is a thing that can bring the lover happiness, so why not marry for love?

Of course. We all hope to have a soulmate. But if my husband is the equal to me in position and in money it must be perfect .In the l ong run, The economic base determines the superstructure

It is true ,but we can earn money by ourselves. However it’s so difficult to g et true love in our life. So we can’t just lose love for money.

Ok, Our opinion are not contradictory. Both of above subjects are important. No money, nothing you can proceed at the moment. No Love Life woul d be a littl e empty .

Generation gap

In our daily life, there is often a hard understanding between parents and children . we often have a

contradiction in some ways.

You are right, that is the generation gap. You know, when we go through the a rebellious phase we may have a terrible relationship with my parents and complained they don’t und erstand what I think and do.

Yeah. But what is the reason for the existence of generation gap? The different living environment young people and their parents have?

That is an important reason, different living environment may l ead to different attitude toward the world. The other important reason is they lack a mutual respect and communication between each other.

What’s the point to bridge the generation gap between two generations. Do you have any good suggestions?

In my opinion, generation gap coul d be solved by joint efforts of both side. They may have an open talk and tell each other what they think about certain probl ems. Their openness and consideration probably will result in a much better relationship between parents and chil dren.

What’s more, they all should realize that each generation has its own advantages and disadvantages. Parents should respect their children. While children should understand their parents. But it's easier said than done. Could you give some examples?

Sure. Understanding each other through calmly effective communication is only way to solve the probl em. For exampl e, when they talk ,Parents can exchange their tone from “no way ”or “never” to you’d better don’t do that but if you want you can try it ”,and also chil dren can exchange their tone to “don’t interfere with me you are annoying ”to”pl ease stand by my side, l et me try and believe me”.
