为配合搞好学校的校园文化建设，进一步搭建学生学习和交流英语的平台，提高学生学习英语的热情和英语口语水平，营造浓厚的英语学习环境，根据学校工作安排，决定举办英语讲故事比赛。
现将有关事宜通知如下：
一、比赛主题
归宗中心小学英语讲故事比赛。
二、参赛对象
参赛选手为3-6年级的学生，每班选派5名选手分级参加竞赛。
（按级分组，各年级为一组）
三、时间和场地安排
2015年6月15日下午2时，归宗中心小学操场。
四、比赛形式和要求
1、比赛形式：每位参赛选手先进行自我介绍；然后进行1至3分钟脱稿讲述一个英语小故事，题目自拟。
2、评分标准：自我介绍占20%，演讲占80%。
要求选手在台上全程用英语表达，发音标准，语音语调流畅自然，主题鲜明突出，仪表大方得体。

Then, each student would prepare their own 5-7 minute oral presentation summarizing and retelling their chosen story using whatever skills or props they want –acting, artwork, even PowerPoint slides, you name it!We could have different categories too based on the type of story (myth, historical legend, fable, etc.) or the grade level. There could be individual competitions as well as team/group storytelling entries where like 3-4 friends collaborate on one longer, bigger production.For the final round, we'd hold a big showcase evening where the finalists perform their stories in front of the whole school, parents, teachers and community. A panel of judges could score everyone on criteria like English fluency, creativity, dramatic performance, historical accuracy to the original tale, and more.Imagine hearing the dramatic storytelling of how Jingwei the girl filled the sea with twigs and pebbles to get revenge on the cruel shun waters that drowned her parents! Like maybe the individual winners get to have a free speaking role in the school's next English play production? Or the group winners attend an awesome English drama camp over the summer? The fundraising committee could look into getting corporate sponsors to provide those prizes.I think preparing for a competition like this would be such an awesome way for us kids to build up our public speaking skills, boost our English vocabulary, learn more about our Chinese cultural heritage, and have a ton of fun all at the same time. 一、指导思想：
英语课程标准明确指出：基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣。
倡导“敢用英语、能用英语”。
通过诵读英语课文，学生自然会把自己对课文的理解，美的体验和情感融进去。
这样，学生的学习动机、兴趣都会自然地得到开发。
学生的朗读英语，阅读英语的良好习惯也会养成，也能帮助学生形成标准的语音和优美的语调。
二、活动的意义：
1．全员参与竞赛准备，强调参与率和吸引力。
让每一个学生都经历准备的过程，重在体验。

五、实施安排：
（一）教学相长书香四溢
每位老师课利用课上课下边角时间，坚持和学生一起学，一起听，一起模仿，一起朗诵，一起体会，也可以和学生比比谁记得快，模仿得像，朗诵得好。
（二）每天必听必读必说
（1）时间安排
A 每周两天早读为英语诵读时间，这段时间主要是由英语较好的学生负责组织全体学生听录音，模仿朗读指定内容，英语老师巡视做指导。
老师应该每天都要对学生都提出相对不同的要求。
B 每堂英语课都要利用时间对课文进行诵读，时间的长短可以根据课文本身的长短、难易程度、学生掌握情况来决定。
（2）精心指导
A 起始年级，听录音跟读，模仿，老师做必要的讲解和指导。
B 高年级的学生可充分利用美文，培养学生的阅读能力和听的能力，让学生了解大意的基础上，根据上下文猜测词义或翻阅词典查找。
在诵读前先让学生静听录音，要让他们注意语音语调，引导他们感受其中的美。
（三）合理评价有效激励
（1）班级“英语之星”
“英语之星”的评选要求：
A 每篇课文A/B/C各板块都能诵读
B 语音、语调准确，清晰，比较地道、纯正；
