Unit 9 （Section A 1a-1c）

一、教材分析:

本单元围绕“谈论自己所喜欢的学科”这一话题，展开形式多样的听、说、读、写学习活动。主要学习一周中星期一到星期天的表达方式；掌握学科的表达；学习用because和表示品质的形容词表示理由；学习what，why，who引导的特殊疑问句。通过本单元的学习使学生学会谈论自己喜好的学科或自己喜好的其它事情并给出理由；学会说出一周的七天；学会合理地安排自己的作息时间。二、单元学情分析

本单元围绕“谈论自己所喜欢的学科”这一话题，设计了三个任务型活动：任务一是谈论自己所喜欢的学科，学习what引导的特殊疑问句及学科的表达；任务二是一分钟演讲，让学生自己介绍自己喜欢某一学科的理由，学习why等特殊疑问句；任务三是写信，巩固和延伸所学知识，掌握星期的表达方式。在第6单元已学习过如何表达喜欢和不喜欢的食物。通过学习本单元，学生学会谈论自己喜欢的学科和其他事情。整个单元分6个课时进行教学。

Step 1Leading in

（今天正好是一个男生的生日，以祝贺他的生日开始新课。紧接着介绍教师自己的偏爱，引出新课。）

1. Teacher introduces her favorite sport with the structure “I like basketball best.” Then ask the students “What sport do you like best?”

What sport do you like best? I like basketball best.

2. Talk about favorite color/fruit/food/subject.

Step 2 Presentation

（一边学习新句型一边学习生词。有学生跟着教师读，学生齐读，分男、女生读等，重点朗读subject, geography, science.）

1. Learn the new words

T: I’m an English teacher. My favorite subject is English. What’s your favorite subject?

How many subjects do you have now? What are they?

(Showing some pictures所展示的学科照片是利用美图秀秀制作的) Learn the new words: science, P.E. music, math, Chinese, geography, history, English, biology, politics.

Students read after the teacher.

2. Present the key sentences

What’s your favorite subject? My favorite subject is science.

（展示重点句型后，听9门学科的录音。录音是Cool edit 和cutter制作完成。）Make conversations with some students. Practice the conversations with the other words of subjects.
