Should We Celebrate Western Festivals?

In recent years，western festivals are popular in China.But should we Chinese people celebrate western festivals?

Most people are in favor of it.They believe that the celebration of western festivals can make our life more colorful and romantic，which helps our traditional culture fresh and active.Besides，it provides a good chance for us to communicate with others and develop our relationships.

However，other people hold different views.First of all，they argue that some young people pay more attention to western festivals than our traditional ones，which will die out if not protected well.What’s worse，many people are not clear about the meaning of western festivals and they just create a mess.

As far as I am concerned，I do hope the government will encourage people to celebrate Chinese traditional festivals in creative and colorful ways.

With the development of Internet，more and more students like to make friends online.However，should students make friends online?

Nowadays，some people hold the opinion that cultural relics should be open to the public.But others have a negative attitude.

Some held the view that opening cultural relics is a good way for people to understand Chinese history，traditional culture，customs and building styles.Besides，opening cultural relics can have special education functions.What’s more，opening cultural relics can do good to the local tourism.People can benefit from traveling and it will greatly speed up the local economy.
