In the realm of spoken academic English, the art of delivering a compelling and cogent presentation is paramount. The essence of such a discourse lies not only in the robustness of the research but also in the clarity and engagement of the delivery. This document aims to elucidate the key components that constitute an effective oral academic report, weaving through the intricacies of content organization, language precision, and the subtle dance of keeping an audience captivated. At the heart of any academic presentation is the research question. This pivotal inquiry guides the trajectory of the discourse and anchors the audience's understanding. It is the beacon that illuminates the path of exploration and sets the stage for the ensuing discussion. A well-articulated research question is both a compass and a map; it directs the focus and outlines the journey ahead.Following the introduction of the research question, the presentation delves into the methodology. This section is the engine room of the report, where the mechanisms of investigation are laid bare. It is here that the presenter must employ clear and concise language to convey complex processes. The methodology is not merely a list of actions but a narrative of discovery, a story of how the data was coaxed into revealing its secrets.Data analysis is the crucible in which hypotheses are tested and theories forged. It is a meticulous process that demands precision and attention to detail. The presenter must navigate this terrain with the dexterity of a cartographer, charting the findings with accuracy and ensuring that each result is a stepping stone that leads closer to the answer sought. The results section is a showcase of the empirical evidence gathered. It is a gallery where the fruits of labor are displayed, each piece of data a brushstroke contributing to the larger picture. The language here is factual, yet it must also be vibrant, transforming numbers and figures into a narrative that resonates with the audience.Interpretation is the soul of the report. It is where the presenter breathes life into the data, weaving threads of meaning and constructing a tapestry of understanding. This is the moment where the presenter steps back to reveal the panorama of insights gleaned, inviting the audience to view the landscape of knowledge that has been mapped out.In conclusion, the presentation must circle back to the research question, now illuminated by the journey through methodology, analysis, and interpretation. The conclusion is not an end but a vantage point, a place from which the implications and future directions of the research are viewed. It is a moment of reflection, where the significance of the findings is pondered and the impact on the field considered.Throughout the presentation, the language must remain sharp, the transitions smooth, and the narrative engaging. The presenter is both a guide and a storyteller, leading the audience through a realm of inquiry and discovery. The ultimate goal is a seamless synthesis of content and delivery, where the audience leaves not just informed, but inspired. In crafting such a document, one must be vigilant to avoid the pitfalls of digression. The content must be tethered tightly to the theme, and extraneous elements must be diligently excised. The quality of the document is not just in the information it conveys but in the experience it offers to the reader or listener. Thus, an oral academic English report is more than a mere recitation of facts; it is an intellectual journey. It is a carefully choreographed performance that balances the rigors of academic research with the art of communication. To master this form is to unlock the potential of one's research, allowing it to resonate within the academic community and beyond. 。

Title: Brief Oral Presentation TemplateLadies and gentlemen,Good afternoon! Today, I'm honored to share with you a brief overview of our recent project, "Green Initiatives in Urban Planning." This project aims to incorporate sustainable practices into the design and development of urban spaces, with a focus on improving environmental quality and enhancing the liveability of cities. Our team conducted extensive research on current urban planning trends, analyzing both successful and unsuccessful implementations of green initiatives. We identified key challenges, such as limited financial resources, public awareness, and technical feasibility. To address these challenges, we developed a comprehensive strategy that includes the integration of renewable energy sources, water conservation techniques, and green transportation options. One of the key highlights of our project is the implementation of vertical gardens in high-rise buildings. These gardens not only add aesthetic value to the cityscapebut also absorb carbon dioxide, reduce air pollution, and provide a habitat for wildlife. To ensure the success of this initiative, we partnered with local community groups and educational institutions to raise awareness and involve the community in its implementation.Another significant aspect of our project is the promotion of green transportation. We advocated for the expansion of cycling and walking paths, as well as the introduction of electric vehicles to reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality. We also encouraged the use of public transportation and promoted carpooling and vanpooling as viable alternatives to private vehicles.Through our project, we aim to create a more sustainable and liveable urban environment that caters to the needs of both the environment and its inhabitants. We believe that with the implementation of these green initiatives, we can contribute to the global effort of combating climate change and ensuring a sustainable future for all.Thank you for your attention.

As a student or professional, you may be required to present information, findings, or recommendations to an audience. This type of presentation allows you to showcase your knowledge, communication skills, and ability to engage your listeners. The first step in preparing an oral report is to thoroughly understand the purpose of the report and the expectations of your audience. Are you expected to provide a summary of a research project, present a case study, or deliver a progress update on a particular initiative? Provide an overview of the topic, state the main objectives or purpose of the report, and outline the key points you will cover. Background and Context: Provide the necessary background information to help the audience understand the context of your report. How to make wise choic

How to make wise choic英文:Wise consumers read magazine advertisements and watch TV commercials, but they do this with one advantage: knowledge of the psychology behind the ads. In other words, well-informed consumers watch for information and check for misinformation. They ask themselves questions: Is the advertiser hiding something in small print at the bottom of the page? Is there any real information in the commercial, or is the advertiser simply showing an attractive image? Is this product more expensive than it should be because it has a famous name? With the answers to these questions, consumers can make a wise choice.

Let’s begin our toptic ,Now I will show some pictures to you , please look at the screen. Those pictures show us were the earthquake hanppened in Sichuan province china on may 12th 2008 and japan recently. Those two earthquake looming is terrific, Can say is really powerful. And today I will say something about the earthquake.what is earthquake?Earthquake is the rapid vibration of the Earth's surface, also known as the earth will quake in ancient times. It just as windy, rain, lightning, landslides, volcanic eruptions, often occur on Earth is a naturalphenomenon. It originated from the ground floor of a point, known as the focal point (focus). Vibration from the source reported, in thedissemination of the earth. On the ground from the nearest point sourcecalled the epicenter, it is the site of the earliest to accept vibration. Vibration of the land is the most intuitive earthquake, the most common performance. Coastal areas in the submarine or the strong earthquake, can cause huge waves, called tsunami. Is extremely frequent earthquakes, global in each of the earthquake about 500 million times, the community as a whole has a GREat impact. What caused the earthquake occurred ?Earthquake is the Earth's interior local media in the rapid breakdown of a seismic wave, which in a certain range ground vibration caused the phenomenon. The earthquake started in place as the source, the source is at the top of the ground known as the epicenter. The devastating earthquake ground vibration is known as the most strong earthquake, a seismic area that is often the epicenter of the region. The phenomena when theearthquake occurred! When the earthquake occurred, the most basic phenomenon is the continuous ground vibration, is obviously the sloshing. Most people in the earthquake zone was shaking before the large, sometimes from top to bottom was the first beating. Nature of earthquakes on the landscape have GREatly affected. The main consequences on the ground to a fault and crack. The surface earthquake fault often stretching several dozen to several hundred kilometers, often have more obvious mistakes of the vertical and horizontal distance from wrong, can reflect the structural changes in the source characteristics. However, not all the fault surface and the source directly linked to the campaign, they also may be due to seismic waves caused by secondary effects. In particular the surface sediment layer thick, slope edge of the road along the river banks and often occur in cracks, which often is due to topographic factors, not relying on theside of the swaying under the conditions of the topsoil Songkua and Benglie. The earthquake shaking the surface subsidence, the shallow groundwater will be squeezed along the cracks rose to the surface, take a sandblasting water phenomenon. Earthquake local topography can change, or uplift, or settlement. So that urban and rural roads chècracked, twisted rail tracks, bridges broken. The classification of earthquake!According to the causes of earthquakes, earthquakes can be divided into the following: 1. Tectonic earthquake,2. Volcanic earthquake,3. collapse Earthquake,4. Induced earthquake,5. Artificial earthquake。

But their availability and poor performance has limited their commercial deployment in the higher energy gamma application.
Large-area monolithic CZT detectors that are produced by THM method provide excellent performance. Thicker detectors have also been shown to function well.
Characterization of large CZT crystals grown by travelingtion
To date, CZT crystal has captured considerable interest due to its potential in many applications as a room temperature radiation detector.
In this paper, we discuss the spectral response and electrical properties of the 20×20×10 and 10×10×10 mm3 monolithic pixellated detectors.
Crystal characterization
Although more optimization is required, these results demonstrate that with proper design of the devices, and additional signal-processing correction, sub-1% 662 keV energy resolution is very likely to be achievable in largevolume monolithic pixellated detectors fabricated from crystals of similar quality.
Average pixel response of a single pixel was near 1% FWHM.Under these same conditions, an energy resolution of 2.6% can be achieved.
Use a nonoptimized detector's configuration and test method. If a good correction mechanism, the energy resolution below 1% can be achieved, with the possibility of approaching 0.5%.
IR microscopy and x-ray topography mapping to analyze the Te inclusion, which are the most effective methods of detecting these crystal defects in CZT. The density of both Te inclusion and their sizes is very low.

Conclusion
This work demonstrates our initial successful results in developing larger volume CZT with high-resolution radiation detectors based on the THM growth process. These results suggest that the process is progressing toward optimized crystal growth and wafer processing and the achievement of reliable production.
