牛津小学英语4B Unit7 At a snack bar说课稿Good morning/afternoon, everyone! It’s my pleasure to be here. I’m going to talk about Part A and B of Unit7 At a snack bar, Fun with English, Book 4B.

Ⅰ. Teaching contents

As we all know, the main aims of teaching English in primary school is to cultivate pupil’s basic abilities of their listening, speaking, reading and writing ,and their good sense of the English language. And it is very important to develop their keen interests in English.

The content from Part A and B of Unit7 At a snack bar is very close to students’daily life. This unit is mainly about how to buy food or drinks at a snack bar. From this lesson, the students will learn some words about food and drinks, and the sentence patterns “What would you like?/How much is it /are they? Something to drink? Anything else?” as well.

Ⅱ. Teaching aims

a. Aims of knowledge

1.Enable the students to master the words: pies, hamburgers, noodles, coffee,

juice, milk.

2.Enable the students to master the sentences: What would you like? Something

to drink? Anything else? How much is it/ are they? …

b. Aims of abilities

1.To train the students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing;

2.To improve students’ communicative and cooperative abilities in the daily life.

c. Aims of emotion

1. To arouse students’ interests in learning English.

2. To train the students’ spirit of co-operation and consciousness of competition.

ⅢTeaching points

Key points:

a. The sentence patterns: What would you like? Something to drink? Anything else?

How much is it / are they? …

b. The words: pies, hamburgers, noodles, coffee, juice, milk

Difficult point:

To make students master the new knowledge and then put them into practice.

Ⅳ.Teaching methods

a. Situational approach

I’ll make good use of the teaching materials and create an appropriate situation for the students so as to stimulate their desire to deepen their understanding of the knowledge.

b. Task-based approach

Task-based learning has some clear advantages

1. The students are free of language control.

2. The language explored arises from the students' needs.

3. It is a strong communicative approach where students spend a lot of

time communicating.

Ⅵ.Teaching procedures

Before class, I’ll divide the whole class into four groups. They are Clothes Group, Toy Group, Fruit Group and Food Group.

Purpose: A well-planned group work with each group given clear, defined and achievable goals, can promote deeper and broader learning outcomes for all students. It not only helps students develop language and communication skills but also give the students' opportunities to experience cooperated learning and enhance their consciousness of competition.

Step1. Warming up.

Do some exercises:

Purpose: It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by doing some total physical response and at the same time it

provides situations to learn new knowledge for the next step.

Step2. Presentation

a. After doing some exercises, I’ll ask the students “Are you tired? Are you
