2, 一般过去式
这是本课开始接触到的一种新时态。

它将贯穿整个五、六年级的英语学习过程。

本课主要掌握
(1)过去式的定义及判定方法（如含有表示过去的时间短语，或上下文的暗示等）;
(2)be 动词的过去式及否定式
is, am----was are----were
was not=wasn’t were not= weren’t
(3)过去式的句型结构
肯定句：主语+ was /were + 其它+过去时间
否定句：主语+ wasn’t /weren’t + 其它+过去时间
一般疑问句：Was / Were + 主语+其它+过去时间？
肯定回答：Yes, 主语+ was /were.
否定回答：No, 主语+ wasn’t /weren’t.
除了掌握语法外，还要多听多读多背，以避免出现常见的I were 这样低级的错误。

4. 本课中出现的几对反义词也值得多加注意：

3, 本课是全学期的重点课，所以，初学者有必要背诵下列句型结构：
过去式肯定句：主语+ V-ed(行为动词过去式) +其它。

否定句：主语+ didn’t + V (动词原形) + 其它
一般疑问句：Did + 主语+ V (动词原形) + 其它？
肯定回答：Yes, 主语+ did.
否定回答：No, 主语+ didn’t.
特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词（what, when等）+ did +主语+V(动词原形) + 其它？
4，难点：动词过去式的变化规则：
(1)一般在动词原形后直接加ed
(2)如果动词后已经有e , 则只加d
(3)以“辅音字母+ y”结尾的，改y为i, 再加ed
(4)以重读闭音节结尾，只末尾只有一个辅音字母的，双写该辅音字母，再加ed

背诵时注意后缀-ed的发音。

后缀-ed的发音规则：
(1)清辅音/p/,/tʃ/,/k/,/ʃ/,/s/等后读/t/, 如：look—looked, stop—stopped
(2)浊辅音/g/,/v/,/z/,/l/,/m/,/n/等和元音后读/d/, 如：live—lived, stay—stayed
(3)/t/和/d/后读/id/, 如：want—wanted, skate--skated
3，本课的难点是出现了一些新的不规则动词变化形式。
