The school library is like my second home!One of my favorite parts of the school day is lunchtime when I get to hang out with my best friends, Amy and Jack. We have so much fun chatting, laughing, and trading snacks. Sometimes we even make up crazy jokes and riddles to see who can stump the others. Recess is also a blast! We love playing on the swings and seesaws or running around on the field. Whenever it's nice out, we bring out chalk and draw huge, colorful designs all over the blacktop.After school, I enjoy lots of hobbies and activities. Some were delicious but others were pretty strange tasting.After a few days in Bangkok, we flew down to the beach resort area of Phuket. Our hotel had a huge pool with a swim-up bar (though obviously Tommy and I couldn't drink anything fun!)We spent our days swimming, building sandcastles, playing beach volleyball and Frisbee, and just relaxing with good books. In the evenings, we'd walk along the beach markets and I'd haggle with the vendors to buy cute souvenirs and dresses. I really worked on my bargaining skills!One day we went on a snorkeling cruise to some smaller islands. Seeing all the bright tropical fish and coral up close underwater was absolutely breathtaking. Another day we rodeelephants through the jungle - that was a little scary at first since they're such huge animals, but our elephant guide made sure we were safe.On our last couple of days, we drove up into the hilly rainforest region and went whitewater rafting down a rushing river.
