Zigzag Bridge & Mid-lake Pavilion（九 曲桥&湖心亭）

Location

Yu Yuan Garden located in the center of the Old City next to the Chenghuangmiao area in shanghai , is considered one of the most lavish(奢华) and finest Chinese gardens in the region. The garden is accessible from the nearby Yuyuan garden Station on the Shanghai line 10.

Great Rockery (大假山)

Great Rockery(大假山)- it is the first scene visitors can see when entering the garden. It is the oldest and largest rockery in the area of south Yangtze River with a height of 14 meters. History

The garden was first established in 1559 as a private garden created by Pan yunduan, who spent almost 20 years building a garden to please his father Pan En, a senior official in the Ming Dynasty, during his father‘s old age. Over the years, the gardens fell into disrepair(失修) until about 1760 when bought by merchants, before suffering extensive damage in the 19th century.
Yangshan Hall

Yangshan Hall(仰山堂)- it has a roundabout corridors(迂回走廊) in the face of the pond. It is a superior place to admire the Great Rockery and to appreciate the cultural inscribed stones of Orchid Pavilion Series by the famous Calligrapher Wang Xizhi
