一、指导思想：
《英语课程标准》明确指出：基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣。
所以倡导“敢说英语、敢用英语、能用英语”是我们活动的宗旨，以“让每一个学生说一口流利的英语”为目标。
通过演讲英语短文，学生自然会把自己对篇章的理解，美的体验和情感融进去。
这样，学生的学习动机、兴趣都会自然地得到开发。
学生的朗读、阅读英语的良好习惯也会养成，也能帮助学生形成标准的语音和优美的语调，从而达到提高能力的目的。
二、活动目的：
为进一步激发学生的英语学习兴趣，提高学生的英语学习能力，并为市级英语朗诵比赛做准备。
我校决定于第十周举行校级英语朗诵比赛。
三、比赛地点：东大楼五楼多媒体教室
四、比赛时间：
六年级：2011年12月14日( 星期三下午2:45)第三节课
五、比赛形式：
每班在班内初赛的基础上选拔三人参加校个人朗读评比,每位比赛选手提前5分钟进入多媒体教室准备区，抽签领取朗读材料，作比赛准备,内容为课外材料。

（所有评委不参与所教班级学生打分）

本次英语朗诵比赛设一等奖1名，二等奖2名，三等奖4名。
