动词不定式与疑问词连用的用法总结


动词不定式可以与疑问词连用，包括疑问代词who, what, which 和疑问副词how, when, where 等。这个结构具有名词的性质，在句子中可以做主语、宾语、表语或同位语等成分。例如：
Where to hold the meeting is a question. （做主语）
在哪儿举行会议是个问题。
I don’t know what to write about. （作宾语）
我不知道写什么内容。
Bill wrote two books on how to do sports. （作介词宾语）
比尔写了两本关于如何做运动的书。
The problem is when to start. （作表语）
问题是何时动身。
He hasn’t yet decided this, where to go. （作this 的同位语）

提醒一：做主语时，可用it 做形式主语，例如：
It hasn’t been decided how to get there. 如何到那儿没有决定。
提醒二：有时作宾语的结构可以改为宾语从句，例如：
He didn’t ask when to stop. = He didn’t ask when he would stop.
他没有问什么时候停下来。

提醒三：考题中如何正确选用疑问词。常用的疑问代词有who, whom, what, which等；常用的疑问副词有where, when, how等。
（一）、当不定式中的动词是及物动词，带有自己的宾语时，就根据句意选用合适的疑问副词；不带有自己的宾语时，就根据句意选用合适的疑问代词。例如：

2. He didn’t know _____.
A. when to do B.what to do C.why to do
（二）、当不定式中的动词是不及物动词，后面不带有可以和它构成及物的介词或副词时，就根据句意选用合适的疑问副词。带有介词或副词，后面再有宾语时，选用疑问副词；没有宾语时，选用疑问代词。例如：
