In recent years scientists have become very concerning about the greenhouse effect.There are gases in the Earth’s atmosphere what act like the glass in a greenhouse.They let the sunl ight in,or they don’t let the sun’s heat out.Greenhouse gases came from burning coals and oil using by industries,cars,and trucks.These gases are increasing.Most scientists are worried about that as these gases increase,the Earth will get too warmly.This condition called global warming.If the Earth does grow warmer,the ice from the North and South Pole will begin to melt.Then our oceans will spill over low-lying coastal areas.World leaders is trying to find ways to reduce greenhouse gases.

2．It was a bad night for Lewis, whose work had taken long than expected. It was late and he was tiring when driving home. He turned into his building’s parking lot, so all the spaces were full. He drove back onto the street, looked for a parking space. The next block were empty. He didn’t see the "No Parking" sign. He drove in, parked and hurrying home. The next morning he went back for his car. It was going. He telephoned the police to say his car had stolen. The police told him what it had happened: his car had been on a private parking lot and had been taken away by the police. Lewis had to pay 40 dollars to get her car back. In addition, he got a parking ticket.

How is everything going? I would like to express my thanks with your kindness during my stay in London last week. Know that you take a great fancy to Chinese culture, especial the Spring Festival, I would love to introduce it to you. The Spring Festival, one of the most important festival in China, falls on January 1st in the lunar calendar. It has a long history, where was originally celebrated to dr ive away a monster “Nian”. Different that in the past, it is now given new meanings. On the New Year’s Eve, each family have its members gather together. 4．My name is Bruce Hall. I’m happy to being your English teacher. First, I’d like to tell you something about myself. I was born in Paris which the winter is cold. So I went to a warm place — Egypt and lead camels for tourists under the pyramids. Before some time, I went to study at California State University, with the money I had earned it in Egypt. Late, I went to Salt Lake City and became high school teacher. It is five years since I came to China as a teacher of English. My classes are designed special to meet the needs of each student whether they want to prepare for various exam or generally learn to speak English. 5．I believe we students should allowed to carry cell phones to school because we face many danger today. Cell phones help us to keep in the touch with our parents and to let them know when they have a problem. Also, if our parents have to change arrangements they had made with us, they can text us or call us. Some teachers complain for some of us using cell phones in class, and most of us don’t do this. To solve this, schools can just make a rule about not use phones in class. Using cell phones are part of modern life and if we use them sensible, we can carry them to school.

6．Smog has covered large areas of Beijing recently, that has had lots of influence to our life. It’s not convenience for us to go o ut due to the heavy smog. In order to take in less than poisonous air, whenever we go out, we have to wear mask. Given such a serious problem, some measures must be taken to solve it. As for our government, some laws should be passed to ban factories from giving off poisonous waste. At a same time, we are supposed not to drive to work but ride their bicycles. Now I appeal to all people to take action against smog but protect our world from be polluted. Only in the way do we live in a green world.
