●He promised(him)never to lie to him again. 他答应以后决不再对他撒谎了。

间接宾语有时也可以置于直接宾语之后，间接宾语 前需加介词 to或for，此时的to或for无实际意义， 只起连接作用。例如：

●We must try to solve this problem. 我们必须设法解决这个问题。
●We can try solving this problem in other ways. 我们可以试用另一些方法来解决这一问题。
