Step 1: Warm-up and task presentation.

T:Are you ready for class?

Ss: Ready!

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good morning, Ms Luo.

T: (引入评价介绍)Look here! Today I have some different cards about school. And this class if you can do well you can get some. OK?

Ss: OK.

T: Boys and girls, I’m sure in our school you have many good friends. Who is your good friend?

S1: My friend is Liu Xinyi.

T: A boy or a girl?

S1: A girl.

T: What about you? Who is your good friend?

S2: My friend is Jiang Yuyi.

T: Is she in our classroom?

S2: Yes.

T: Where is Jiang Yuyi? Hello.

S3: Hi.

T: Boys and girls,I have a good friend too. (播放Mary声音:Hello, boys and girls. My name is Mary. I’m a teacher from Australia. Look! This is my school.) Let’s enjoy a video of Mary’s school. OK?

Ss: OK.

播放外教学校视频。

T: I think Mary’s school is very big. What do you think of Mary’s school?

Ss: It’s very beautiful. / It’s big. / It’s big and beautiful.

T: Now let’s play a guessing game and know about Mary’s school. Look at the first picture. Is this the…?

S1: Is this the playground?

T: A good question. You can get a sticker of Mary’s school.

S2: Is this the t eachers’ office?

T: Maybe.

S3: Is this the classroom?

T: It’s possible.

(Show the second picture.)

S1/2/3: Is this the lab/ classroom / teachers’ office?

T: Look! This is the lab.

(Show the third picture.)

S1/2/3: Is this the teachers’ office/ lab/ classr oom ?

T: Look! This is the teachers’ office.

(Show the fourth picture.)

S1/2: Is this the classroom ?

T: Oh. This is an art room. (单词卡教学ar—art, oo—room, art room)

出示另外两幅美术教室图进行操练,板书。

(Show the fifth picture.)

S1/2/3: Is this the art room/ classroom/ teache rs’ office ?

T: Wow! What beautiful music! This is the music room. (单词卡教学music room并板书)

Look! This September Mary will visit our school. So let’s introduce our school to Mary. But first let’s learn more about school.

Step 2: Text presentation.

1.T: Who is she?

Ss: Lucy.

T: Now Lucy is visiting Jenny’s school. What places are they talking about? Let’s follow them.

观看课文动画

S1/2/3: classroom, art room, music room.

教师根据学生的回答把相应的图片贴到黑板上。

2. T: Look at Jenny’s school. It has three floors.

学习first floor.(ir---bird--first oor---door---floor) second floor third floor并板书。出示生活中的酒店楼层示意图和宝塔图,联系学生生活实际操练。

T: Jenny’s school has three floors. But where’s the classroom? Where’s the art room? Where’s the music room? Listen and underline the answer.

请一名同学到台前,台下同学问Where’s th e classroom? 台上同学回答并把教室图贴到相应的位置。课件呈现课文的第一幅图听并检验该生回答是否正确。

其他两个问题答案的呈现方法同上。

3. T: Look at the blackboard. The classroom is on the third floor. The art room is on the second floor. The music room is on the first floor.

借助板书巩固课文。

Step 3: Practice.

1.Listen and imitate.

2. Dubbing show.

3. Sing a song: We have a music room.

First enjoy. Then try to follow the song. At last sing together.

4. Talk about Mary’s school.

T: I think you know a lot about Jenny’s school. What about Mary’s school?

①Sharp eyes : 快速闪现Mary学校功能室位置。教师问Where’s the…? 学生用It’s on the…回答。图的呈现难度逐步增加并最终呈现完整的学校图。

②Ask and answer in pairs and try to remember the right places.同桌问答尝试记住各功能室所在楼层的位置。

③Test your memory:请一名同学到台前背对屏幕,其他学生根据老师出示的功能室词卡问该同学Where’s the…? 该同学用It’s on the… 回答。

Step 4: Consolidation and extension.

T: We know more about Mary’s school. And do you remember this September Mary will visit our school. Can you introduce our school
