Abstract
The author of this paper has carried out a survey on men and women’s prejudices in distribution of family affairs. The survey, through some respondents and a questionnaire, has found out that there do exist prejudice between men and women on this aspect. The view of men are superior to women seemed to be the main reason. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the sex prejudice in family, explore the causes and then find some solutions.

1. Introduction
With the development of the society, women are playing more and more important roles in various aspects of the modern world. Women are deeply tied to the development of society. Therefore more and more people begin to care about women’s status. Although the society keeps on saying women should be treated equally as men, the idea that men are better than women still exerts a subtle influence on people’s minds., the situation is not as optimistic as the majority of women think. In effect, women are far from equal to men. Actually, men’s superiority is inveterate, which can’t be shaken overnight. This sexism exist everywhere, this essay is on the man and women’s prejudice in distribution of the household duties. People always think that women are suit for housework and man should go out to earn living. Seldom have people acknowledged that it is one kind of prejudice. The following parts are aiming at exposing this phenomenon and try to find the reason and the solution of it.

2.Methods
To unclose this situation visually, we surveyed some citizens. We designed a questionnaire, which included 10 questions and 2 aspects range from difficult decisions to distribution of family affairs. In library, campus and streets, we gave out 100 pieces of questionnaire to people in different ages and careers. We got 95 back. Of the people who answered our questionnaires, 54 are men and 41 are women. Finally the data of this survey was listed and analyzed detailedly and orderly. The results are discussed as follow.

3.Data analysis
Q1:
On this question, we can learn that about 63% respondents choose B, they think that men should take most of the family income. As we can see in our daily life, a husband usually dominate more in economy than his wife, and since husbands are working outside and earning more money, wives have to spend more time at home doing various housework. It’s well known that economic status determines social status. Therefore, in a family, men can often use the economic predominance to suppress women.
