介绍一个地方去一个地方旅游英语作文

介绍一个地方去一个地方旅游英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Awesome Trip to the Grand CanyonHave you ever been on a really long road trip? This summer, my family and I went on the longest road trip ever - all the way from our home in New York to the Grand Canyon in Arizona! It took us almost a whole week of driving to get there, but it was totally worth it. The Grand Canyon is one of the coolest places I've ever seen.We left New York after my last day of school and started driving west. The first couple of days felt like forever in the car. My little brother kept asking "Are we there yet?" over and over again. My parents tried to keep us entertained by playing road trip games and spotting different license plates from all the states we passed through. Some games were fun, like seeing who could spot the most different kinds of trucks. Other games were kind of lame though, like my dad's quizzes about state capitals (thanks a lot for that one, Dad). After what felt like 100 hours in the car, we finally made it to Arizona. We stayed in a hotel in Flagstaff the night before going to the Grand Canyon. I had no idea how incredibly massive this thing would be! The next morning we drove to the South Rim entrance and got our first look at the canyon. My jaw dropped - it was grander than I ever imagined! The Grand Canyon isn't just some hole in the ground. It's a gigantic 277 river mile long crevice carved into the Earth over millions and millions of years by the Colorado River. It's over a mile deep in some spots and up to 18 miles wide from rim to rim! We first stopped at Mather Point, one of the most popular viewpoints on the South Rim. From there, we could look out over the vast layers of red rock, all shaped over eons by wind and water. It seemed to stretch out forever in front of us. My dad said we were actually looking at rocks that were over 2 billion years old - that's older than dinosaurs! After admiring the view for a while (and taking about a million pictures), we decided to hike part of the South Rim Trail so we could look over the edge of the canyon. This trail runs right along the rim, giving amazing views at every turn. We only hiked a couple miles out and back, but even that felt like a lotwith the intense desert heat. I don't know how people hike all the way down into the canyon and back up - that seems impossible! The next day we took one of the free shuttles along the South Rim and stopped at some other viewpoints. Each one seemed even more mind-blowing than the last. My favorite was Hopi Point, where we could look all the way across the vast canyon towards the North Rim. I've never felt so tiny compared to something so immense and ancient. We also walked out on part of the Rim Trail to Hermits Rest, one of the historic stone buildings constructed in the 1920s and 30s. It had a awesome gift shop inside stocked with all kinds of cool Native American art and jewelry. On our third day there, we went for a trail ride on mules along the canyon rim. That was a little scary but really fun. The wranglers told us all about the human history of people living and exploring in the canyon area, starting with the Ancestral Puebloan people hundreds of years ago. We felt a little braver getting up close to the edge while riding those surefooted mules. My parents had booked one of the helicopter tours for our last morning so we could see the canyon from the air. I've never been in a helicopter before, and it was so cool looking down intothe massive chasm with the river snaking along the bottom. The pilot pointed out different famous rock formations and showed us where the Bright Angel Trail zig-zags its way down to the river.I don't think I'd ever want to actually hike all the way down there and back up though - that's just too far! After our helicopter tour, we had to start the long drive back home to New York. I was really sad to leave the Grand Canyon. It's just such an incredible natural wonder. The scale of it is so hard to comprehend until you're actually there looking over the rim. Part of me wouldn't have minded camping for another week so we could've explored more trails and overlooks.I feel really lucky that my family made this trip happen. Most kids my age haven't seen anything quite as amazing as the Grand Canyon. It's crazy to think that a mighty river carved such an immense chasm into the earth over billions of years. Looking out over it, you can't help but feel very small compared to the size and age of this natural masterpiece. It reminds you that the Earth is always slowly changing and transforming itself through time, with rivers and rain and wind all sculpting the landscape every day.I really hope every kid gets the chance to visit the Grand Canyon at some point. It's one of those places that makes youappreciate how awesome nature can be. And it was cool getting to go on an big adventure with my family to see it too. Even with all the driving, I'll always have great memories of this trip. Who knows, maybe one day I'll even be brave enough to hike all the way down to the bottom! Although I don't think my parents would ever let me do that...篇2My Dream Vacation to the Bahamas!Hello everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my dream vacation spot – the Bahamas! The Bahamas is a beautiful group of islands in the Caribbean Sea, and it looks like the perfect place for a kid's vacation. Let me tell you why I want to go there so badly!First of all, the Bahamas has the most incredible beaches I've ever seen. The sand is perfectly white and soft, and the water is the bluest, clearest blue you can imagine. It's like a tropical paradise come to life! I love swimming and building sandcastles, so I know I would have an absolute blast playing on those pristine beaches all day long. I could swim, snorkel, and maybe even try surfing or boogie boarding if my parents let me!But the fun doesn't stop at the beaches. The Bahamas is also home to tons of awesome activities and attractions that are perfect for kids. One place I really want to go is the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. It has incredible waterparks with huge slides, a river ride, and pools everywhere you look. They even have dolphin encounters where you can swim and play with real bottlenose dolphins! How cool is that?Another thing I'm really excited about is all the opportunities to see marine life up close. The Bahamas has some of the clearest waters in the world, which means the snorkeling and scuba diving is out of this world. I could spot brightly colored fish, coral reefs, maybe even a shark or two if I'm lucky! I've watched so many animal documentaries about the creatures in the Caribbean and I would love to see them in person. For a kid who loves adventures, the Bahamas seems like it was made for me. There are tons of places to go exploring –swimming through underwater caves, hiking through lush forests, visiting little villages, or taking a boat tour around the tiny islands. My parents might have to pull me away from all the exciting things to do!Of course, I can't forget about the food! The Bahamas has lots of delicious fresh seafood like conch, crab, lobster, and fish. They put it in stews, fritters, salads, and more. I'm not a picky eater, but even if I was, the Bahamas has so many tasty options like pizza, hamburgers, and chicken fingers too. I've heard you can even find places that make algren fritters, which are like little doughnut holes made from pumpkin! I'd need to save plenty of room for dessert. When we're not out exploring and having fun, it would be so relaxing just to hang out at our beach resort. I could play on the beach or in the pool, read books, watch movies, or even try out some fun indoor activities if it rains. My parents could sit back and sip drinks with little umbrellas while working on their tans. A kid's dream vacation for sure! The biggest reason I want to go to the Bahamas though is because of how warm and sunny it is all year round. As a kid from Michigan where we have cold, snowy winters, I would love to experience an island paradise where it's summertime every single day. No jackets or snow boots needed! I could run around in shorts and t-shirts or even my swimsuit all day if I wanted. We'd have endless opportunities to be outside soaking up the sun and fresh air.I've been doing lots of research on the Bahamas and it just seems like the coolest place on earth for a kid. The beaches, water activities, amazing animals, yummy food, fun attractions –what more could a 10-year-old guy ask for? It would be the trip of a lifetime! I really hope my parents take me to the Bahamas for our next big family vacation. I'm already packing my sunscreen and swimsuits just in case. A kid can dream, right? If you ever get the chance to go to the Bahamas, I highly recommend it! This tropical paradise is perfect for kids and adults alike. You can relax on the beautiful beaches, swim with marine animals, go on awesome adventures, eat delicious food, and make lifelong family memories. What could be better than that? The Bahamas is calling my name and I can't wait to get there someday!篇3A Wondrous Adventure to the Grand CanyonHi everyone! I want to tell you all about the most amazing trip I took with my family last summer. We went to the Grand Canyon in Arizona, and let me tell you, it was like nothing I've ever seen before! The journey there was pretty long. We had to take a plane from our home in New York all the way across the country to Arizona. I had never been on a plane for that long before, and Iwas a little nervous. But my parents made sure I had my handheld video games, books, snacks, and everything I needed to stay entertained and happy. Before I knew it, we were landing in Phoenix! From Phoenix, we rented a car and started the drive up to the Grand Canyon National Park. It took us a few hours, but I didn't mind because the scenery was already starting to look really cool and different from back home. We saw wide open deserts, tall cactus plants, and reddish-brown rock formations in the distance. I had never seen landscapes quite like that. When we finally made it to the park entrance, I could hardly contain my excitement. I kept asking "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" like a pesky little kid. My parents chuckled and said "Almost there, just be patient!" Eventually, we went around one last curve, and then...woah. The Grand Canyon suddenly appeared before my eyes, and it was one of the mostjaw-dropping sights I've ever witnessed.Words can't really do it justice, but I'll try my best to describe this natural wonder. Essentially, the Grand Canyon is a massive, massive hole in the ground. But not just any hole - it's over a mile deep, up to 18 miles wide in some spots, and stretches on for 277 river miles long. The sides of the canyon are made up of redrock that has been eroded and sculpted over millions of years by the Colorado River and other forces of nature into fascinating ridges, buttes, and pinnacles. When you're standing on the rim of the canyon, you feel so tiny compared to this colossal gorge carved into the earth's surface. You can see for miles and miles across the vast openness. The different layers of red rock intermingled with greys, oranges, and purples make it look like a delicious rocky layer cake. It's all just so...grand!We stayed for a few nights in one of the lodges inside the park boundaries. Every day, we spent hours upon hours traversing along the different hiking trails on the rim, stopping at all the best viewpoints to gaze across the incredible vistas. We spotted lots of fascinating desert plants and wildlife along the way too - cactus flowers, lizards, jack rabbits, and more. My favorite view was at Mather Point where we could see all the way across the mighty bend in the canyon to the other side miles away. So majestic! One day, we even got to go down into the canyon itself by taking a tour ride on these funny-looking sure-footed mules. My mule's name was Lil' Sebastian and he was very friendly despite being a bit stinky. The trail went on for miles, zig-zagging its waydown deeper and deeper, giving us all sorts of new angles and perspectives to view the layers of rock up close. It felt like we were traveling back in time, seeing millions of years of geological history right in front of us. Our guide taught us so much about how the canyon was formed over epochs by the eroding power of the Colorado River. I couldn't believe something so small compared to the massive canyon could have created something so enormously vast and breathtaking. After our long mule ride back up to the rim, we were exhausted but exhilarated. That night, we saw the most incredible starry night sky you can imagine since there's no light pollution out there in the desert. The Milky Way stretched across the heavens in a glittering band. I felt so peaceful and happy, sitting outside our little cabin gazing up at the cosmos after my big adventure down into the depths of the Grand Canyon that day. What a truly special place this is!On our last day there, we drove over to the less-crowded North Rim area where we could look out across the canyon in a whole new way. This viewpoint showed off the canyon's more lushly forested areas and impressive buttes jutting up from the bottom. We strapped on our hiking boots and ventured down one of the trails to get another glimpse into the ancient carvedmajesty. I don't think I'll ever forgot how tiny and insignificant, yet totally awed and inspired I felt amidst that colossal rocky wonderland. After so many days of hiking, exploring, and immersing ourselves in the incredible scenery and geology, it was hard to say goodbye. The Grand Canyon had cast its spell on me and I knew I'd be dreaming about coming back one day very soon. As we winged our way back home through the sky, I kept the window shade open so I could look down and try to spot that massive gash in the earth's surface from high above, burning the sight into my memory forever. What an adventure! The Grand Canyon is undoubtedly one of the most amazing and marvelous natural attractions on Planet Earth. The scale of it, the vibrant colors, the fascinating geology, the desert plants and critters, the sense of being in an ancient and timeless place...it's an experience that photos just can't capture. You have to go there and see it for yourself through your own eyes. I'm so grateful my family took me on such an unforgettable trip to witness this incredible wonder of the world. I'm already dreaming of my next adventure - where should I go next?!。

Well, I have! The place I dream of visiting more than anywhere else in the world is Australia. Australia just seems like the most awesome country on Earth to a kid like me!First off, Australia is home to some of the wildest and most fascinating animals found anywhere. I've seen pictures and videos of kangaroos hopping around the Outback, and they look hilarious! I would love to get up close to these funny bouncing creatures. But kangaroos are just the start - Australia has all sorts of crazy critters that don't live anywhere else. There are wombats, which kind of look like little bears but are actually marsupials like kangaroos. How cute are wombats?! Then there are freaky-looking animals like the platypus, which is a mammal that actually lays eggs. A furry animal that lays eggs?? That seems totally bizarre and nutty to me! I need to see a real live platypus to even believe they really exist.Besides the goofy and weird animals, Australia seems to have some awesomely fun activities and places too. Like swimming and surfing at amazing beaches with pure white sand and huge waves. Or hiking in the rugged Outback through that classic red desert landscape you see in movies. Or heading into the tropical rainforests of Queensland to spot colorful parrots and other exotic birds. One place in Australia I definitely want to visit is the Great Barrier Reef. It's the largest coral reef system in the entire world, and it looks like a scuba diver's dream destination. Can you imagine putting on a mask and snorkel and seeing that insanely vibrant underworld of coral and marine creatures? Spotting schools of tropical fish, sea turtles, rays, and even reef sharks! That would be a breathtakingly beautiful experience.Another part of Australia near the top of my bucket list is the Sydney Opera House. I've seen pictures of this iconic buildingand it looks so distinct and fancy, like nothing else I've ever seen. I'd love to attend some kind of performance or show inside while visiting Sydney. And right next to the Opera House are the awesome arched Sydney Harbour Bridge and the gorgeous Royal Botanic Gardens too. Sydney just seems like such an action-packed, lively, world-class city to explore. Then you've got all the awesome Aussie cultural experiences I'd want as well. Like attending a cricket match and trying to figure out the batty rules of that crazy sport. Or watching are-enactment of life in the colonial British Empire time period in an old western town. Or seeing Aboriginal Australians perform ancient dances, music, and ceremonies. There's such a unique blend of cultures and history in Australia.I could go on and on about why Australia seems like paradise for a curious, nature-loving kid like me. The climate, the landscapes, the accents, the people, the culture - it all seems to blend together into one epic, unforgettable destination. From spotting kangaroos in the Outback to snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef to cuddling a koala, the adventures I could have in Australia sound endlessly entertaining. So if my family ever gets the chance to take an amazing vacation somewhere far away and exotic, you can bet I'll belobbying hard for Australia. In my mind, there's just no other place that packs as much natural wonder, wildlife awesomeness, and fun experiences into one country. Australia has been at the top of my travel bucket list for as long as I can remember!I know I'm still quite a few years away from being old enough for a big overseas trip on my own. But Australia will always be waiting for me. And I'll be waiting to finally go experience the amazing Aussie adventure I've been dreaming about since I was a little kid!篇4My Dream Destination - The Enchanting Land of FairytalesHello everyone! What were theuncivilized things they’ve doneduring travelling abroad? Someunique things done byChinese tourists when travelling made them be some labels like cutting in line, spitting, defecating indiscriminately and so on.There are plenty of examples like this in my side. Once I travelled to Beijing by following the tour group with countrymen. In the Beijing-to- Tianjin high-speed railway, I experienced their behavior, even if this is only in the domestic! When we movedinto the high iron, the quiet carriage was becoming noisy. And then, they talked loudly with each other in the carriage impudently, distributed snacks, laughed, completely ignoredthe workers reading books or working around. So, why did they do so without beingproducedgood impression by others? In my opinion, first of all, the cultural levelsof the tourists are uneven. Some of them have received a good influence or have received higher education, maybe they won't lose their faces through this behaviors. Secondly, some people love themselveswhile some people have thick hides. Self-love people tend to do internally, being strict with himself even if when left alone, restraining themselves not to do violate moral thing.Thirdly, in the public places, there is no people to remind tourists not toinfluence others. Again, I think they are likely to be very familiar with. With the familiar people, weoftenbehave very along with the gender. So sometimes they might exceed certain limit, making indecent things. Finally, many of whom have large age, they are probably in 40 s or 50 s, the elders own relative stubborn personality, it's hard to change their life attitude. And the last one increasingly emphasizes the importance of education.Found the problem, howcan we solve it? As we know, in general, tochange a thing is easier than to change a person; to change a person is easier than to change a generation. There is a saying: to cultivate a gentleman needs the efforts of several generations. Obviously, if you want to become a nouveau riche or to become rich only, you may just need to win the lottery. But if aperson wants to be a gentleman, to gainhis own economic foundationand have great cultural qualities, he needs to take a long timeabsolutely.Back to the topic of our discussion, how to make a group or even a generationmore polite, being respected everywhere? As far as I am concerned, it really needs the efforts of several generations in China. The most important——the development of our education. We’re supposed to ensure more and more people to accept education andmake more people even allthe national receive higher education. Then, let the experts tell those workers in moral education how to impart knowledge to the students better, helping us set up the consciousness of morality. It will help us learn to judge by ourselves, knowing what to do on some occasions clearly. What’s more?Through the efforts of a generation or two with the government, there may gradually be a good familyculture in each family. So the next generation will be easy tounderstand how to respect others. At that time they might realize civilization work is very normal and simple, the benchmarking of model will be set up in their hearts.I think this will not only solve the problem about Chinese tourists, it will make China's national quality increase greatly. Becausethe tourist behavior isonly just a reflection of national quality.I know, what I havethought is only just a conceive. But I hope the ideas will not to be put into fantasy, through our education, through our government, through our efforts…作文,英语,中国旅游篇三:Persuade people to China 一篇说服外国人来中国旅游的英文文章As the economic developed , more and more people can afford totravel outside their own country . 下面是店铺给大家整理的一些英语范文,供大家参阅!有关旅游景点介绍的英语作文篇1:自由女神像Out of all of America's symbols, none has proved more enduring or evocative than the Statue of Liberty. This giant figure, torch in hand and clutching a stone tablet, has for a century acted as a figurehead for the American Dream; indeed there is probably no more immediately recognizable profile in existence. It's worth remembering that the statue is - for Americans at least - a potent reminder that the USA is a land of immigrants: it was New York Harbor where the first big waves of European immigrants arrived, their ships entering through the Verrazano Narrows to round the bend of the bay and catch a first glimpse of "Liberty Enlightening the World" - an end of their journey into the unknown, and the symbolic beginning of a new life. These days, although only the very wealthy can afford to arrive here by sea, and a would-be immigrant's first (and possibly last) view of the States is more likely to be the customs check at JFK Airport, Liberty remains a stirring sight, with Emma Lazarus's poem, The New Colossus, written originally to raise funds for the statue's base, no less quotable than when it was written……Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. "Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she With silent lips."Give me your tired, your poor,Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse to your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door."The statue, which depicts Liberty throwing off her shackles and holding a beacon to light the world, was the creation of the French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, who crafted it a hundred years after the American Revolution in recognition of solidarity between the French and American people (though it's fair to add that Bartholdi originally intended the statue for Alexandria in Egypt). Bartholdi built Liberty in Paris between 1874 and 1884, starting with a terracotta model and enlarging it through four successive versions to its present size, a construction of thin copper sheets boltedtogether and supported by an iron framework designed by Gustave Eiffel. The arm carrying the torch was exhibited in Madison Square Park for seven years, but the whole statue wasn't officially accepted on behalf of the Americanpeople until 1884, after which it was taken apart, crated up and shipped to New York.It was to be another two years before it could be properly unveiled: money had to be collected to fund the construction of the base, and for some reasonAmericans were unwilling - or unable - to dip into their pockets. Only through the campaigning efforts of newspaper magnate Joseph Pulitzer, a keensupporter of the statue, did it all come together in the end. Richard Morris Hunt built a pedestal around the existing star-shaped Fort Wood, and Liberty was formally dedicated by President Cleveland on October 28, 1886, in aflag-waving shindig that has never really stopped. The statuewas closed for a few years in the mid-1980s for extensive renovation and, in 1986, fifteen million people descended on Manhattan for the statue's centennialcelebrations.Today you can climb steps up to the crown, but the cramped stairway though the torch sadly remains closed to the public. Don't be surprised ifthere's an hour-long wait to ascend. Even if there is, Liberty Park's views of the lower Manhattan skyline, the twin towers of the World Trade Center lording it over the jutting teeth of New York's financial quarter, are spectacular enough.有关旅游景点介绍的英语作文篇2:纽约唐人街On the surface, Chinatown is prosperous - a "model slum," some have called it - with the lowest crime rate, highest employment and least juvenile delinquency of any city district. Walk through its crowded streets at any time of day, and every shop is doing a brisk and businesslike trade: restaurant after restaurant is booming; there are storefront displays of shiny squids, clawing crabs and clambering lobster; and street markets offer overflowing piles of exotic green vegetables, garlic and ginger root. Chinatown has the feel of a land of plenty, and the reason why lies with the Chinese themselves: even here, in the very core of downtown Manhattan, they have been careful to preserve their own way of dealing with things, preferring to keep affairs close to the bond of the family and allowing few intrusions into a still-insular culture. There have been several concessions to Westerners - storefront signs now offer English translations, and Haagen Dazs and Baskin Robbins ice-cream stores have opened on lower Mott Street - but they can't help but seem incongruous. The one time of the year when Chinatownbursts open is during the Chinese New Year festival, held each year on the first full moon afterJanuary 19, when a giant dragon runs down Mott Street to the accompaniment of firecrackers, and the gutters run with ceremonial dyes.Beneath the neighborhood's blithely prosperous facade, however, there is a darker underbelly. Sharp practices continue to flourish, with traditionalextortion and protection rackets still in business. Non-union sweatshops - their assembly lines grinding from early morning to late into the evening - are still visited by the US Department of Labor, who come to investigate workers' testimonies of being paid below minimum wage for seventy-plus-hour work weeks. Living conditions are abysmal for the poorer Chinese - mostly recent immigrants and the elderly - who reside in small rooms in overcrowdedtenements ill-kept by landlords. Yet, because the community has beencloistered for so long and has only just begun to seek help from city officials for its internal problems, you won't detect any hint of difficulties unless you reside in Chinatown for a considerable length of time.有关旅游景点介绍的英语作文篇3:迪斯尼乐园Walt and Roy Disney began their partnership on October 16, 1923 when they signed a contract to produce the Alice Comedies, a series of six- toeight-minute animated films, or "shorts," combining live-action and animation. What began as the Disney Brothers Studio evolved into The Walt Disney Company.Throughout the decades, the company has expandedworldwide from shorts to feature-length animated and live-action films and television production;character merchandise licensing; consumer products retailing; book, magazine and music publishing; Internet activities; television and radio broadcasting; cable television programming; and the operation of theme parks and resorts. From the creation of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in 1927 and the debut of Mickey Mouse in 1928 to the premiere of Tarzan in 1999, animation has remained the defining signature of the company. Along the way, Disney has added successful TV shows like Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, openedtheme parks in California, Florida, France and Japan, launched more than 700 Disney Stores and added brands such as Touchstone, Miramax, ABC and ESPN to the fold.To make the most of Disneyland - the ultimate escapist fantasy and the blueprint for imitations worldwide - throw yourself right into it. Don't think twice about anything and go on every ride you can. The high admission price ($36) includes them all, although during peak periods each one can entail hours of queueing. Remember, too, that the emphasis is on family fun; the authorities take a dim view of anything remotely anti-social and eject those they consider guilty.Over four hundred "Imaginers" worked to create the Indiana JonesAdventure, Disneyland's biggest opening in years. Two hours of queueing are built into the ride, with an interactive archeological dig and 1930s-stylenewsreel show leading up to the main feature - a giddy journey along 2500ft of skull-encrusted corridors in which you face fireballs, falling rubble, venomous snakes and, inevitably, arolling boulder finale. Disney claims that, thanks to computer engineering, no two Indiana Jones rides are ever alike. Judge for yourself.Among the best of the older rides are two in Adventureland: the Pirates of the Caribbean, a boat trip through underground caverns, singing along withdrunken pirates; and the Haunted Mansion, a riotous "doom buggy" tour in the company of the house spooks.Tomorrowland is Disney's vision of the future, where the Space Mountain roller coaster zips through the pitch-blackness of outer space, and the Star Tours ride simulates a journey into the world of George Lucas. The Skyway cable-car line that connects Tomorrowland with the clever but cloyingly sentimental Fantasyland is the only spot in the park from which you can see the outside world. As for accommodation, try to visit Disneyland just for the day and spend the night somewhere else. Most of the hotels and motels nearby cost well in excess of $70 per night. You're not permitted to bring your own food to the park; you can only consume the fast food sold on the premises.Disneyland is at 1313 Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, 45 minutes by car from downtown using the Santa Ana Freeway. In summer, the park is open daily between 8am and 1am; otherwise opening hours are weekdays 10am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to midnight, and Sunday 9am to 10pm. Arrive early; trafficquickly becomes nightmarish, especially in the summer. 介绍旅游景点的英语作⽂篇1 The Stone Forest lies about 80 miles to the southeast of Kunming. A geological phenomenon, the Stone Forest was a vast expanse of sea during the Paleozoic era——some 270 million years ago. Later, the movement of tectonic plates altered the earth’s crust, causing the sea to recede and its limestone bottom to appear, thereby forming land.Due to the constant seeping ofrain through the cracks in the limestone, some of the stone formation dissolved and the fissures broadened, producing a group of great sculptures of different shapes, all molded by nature. In the midst of the forest, there is a huge rock screen on which two words——Stone Forest——are engraved in official script . Among the scenic sights is the "Sword Peak Pond" with jadeite-colored water so clear that one can see the bottom of the pond. Other astonishing sights include "Figure of Ashima," "Shi Ba Xiang Song" , and "Lotus Peak." The splendor of the Stone Forest is enhanced by the local customs of the native Sani people . Sani people are industrious and hospitable——and unconstrained. Sani women are expert at spinning, weaving, and embroidering. They like to wear rainbow-colored headgear and bright-colored dresses. The young people especially are very good singers and dancers. Every day at sunset, under the moonlight, boys and girls gather at the village platform. While the boys play the three-stringed plucked instruments, the girls clap their hands and dance the strong-rhythmed traditional "A’Xi Dance in the Moon" with great enthusiasm. If you happen to witness the event, you will be invited to join in the festivity. Note that every lunar year, on June 24th, the Sani people celebrate their national festival——the Torch Festival. On that day, the entire Stone Forest is permeated with a celebratory atmosphere. There are traditional performances of wreestling and bull-fighting. Finally, when the land is enveloped in the curtain of night, the young men run after the young women to propose marriage in the light of colored lanterns. 介绍旅游景点的.英语作⽂篇2 Hello, everyone! The picture depicts a scenario of a terrible traffic jam in the street. In fact, the traffic jam is so heavy that it is more of a parking lot than a crowded street①. Anxious passengers cannot take buses because there are few buses. Instead, the street is filled with too many private cars. Exaggerated as it is, the phenomenon is not uncommon nowadays. With the number of private cars increasing②, traffic jams in metropolitans are bound to happen. Heavy transportation pressure in large cities may bring much inconvenience to people and exert negative impacts on the environment. On the one hand, when traffic jam happens, short distance in the past now seems to become terribly long, and drivers could do nothing but to wait. Therefore, a lot of precious time has been wasted on the road. On the other hand, exhausted gas emitted by cars③ has increased the burden of environment and caused carbon emission, which has perted from the concept of living a low carbon life. Therefore, effective measures should be taken to alleviate the traffic jam. Firstly, taxes levied on the sales of private cars④ should be raised so as to restrict private car ownership rate. Secondly, public transportation such as buses and subways, which are low-carbon transportation means, should be encouraged and promoted so that we can have a smooth transportation. 介绍旅游景点的英语作⽂篇9Dear Phelps: I’ve learned it from the Internet that you want to make a Chinese friend from Chongqing. Several walls, also referred to as the Great Wall of China, were built since the 5th century BC,the most famous being the one built between 220 BC and 200 BC by the first Emperor of China,Qin Shi Huang; this wall was located much further north than the current wall built during the Ming Dynasty, and little of it remains. The Great Wall of China was originally a project of the Chairman Mao during the Cultural revolution designed to keep out the nomadic Xiongnu invaders from the north. Some of the wall was built during the Qin,but most of it that we see today was constructed during the Ming dynasty. The Great Wall is the worlds largest man-made structure, stretching over a for m i d a b l e 6 , 3 5 2 k m ( 3 , 9 4 8 m i l e s ) , f r o m S h a n h a i P a s s o n t h e B o h a i S e a i n t h e e a s t , a t t h e l i m i t b e t w e e n " C h i n a p r o p e r " a n d M a n c h u r i a ( N o r t h e a s t C h i n a ) , t o L o p N u r i n t h e s o u t h e a s t e r n p o r t i o n o f X i n j i a n g U y g u r A u t o n o m o u s R e g i o n . / p > p > 0 0 A l o n g m o s t o f i t s a r c , i t r o u g h l y d e l i n e a t e s t h e b o r d e r b e t w e e n N o r t h C h i n a a n d I n n e r M o n g o l i a . 介绍旅游胜地英语作文200字

介绍旅游胜地英语作文200字全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Place: Yellowstone National ParkYellowstone is the coolest place ever! It's a huge national park in the United States with so many amazing things to see and do. I went there with my family last summer and we had a blast!First of all, there are geysers everywhere spewing hot water and steam way up into the air. Old Faithful is the most famous one - it shoots up over 180 feet high every 90 minutes or so. Watching it erupt is incredible! The colors of the hot springs are beautiful too, with bright oranges, reds, blues and greens from all the minerals in the water. Then there are the wildlife. We saw huge bison just walking along the roads. They're so massive up close! There were elk with giant antlers too. My favorite were the bear cubs playing and wrestling near the river. The ranger said we had to keep our distance though in case their momma bear was nearby. The best part might have been the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. It's this massive, colorful canyon carved deeply into the ground by a rushing river. The waterfalls were thundering down into the canyon - I've never seen anything so powerful!Yellowstone has geysers, wildlife, canyons, waterfalls and more. It's an outdoor wonderland for kids and grownups alike. I definitely want to go back again soon! If you get the chance, you have to visit Yellowstone - it's amazing!篇2My Awesome Trip to the Grand CanyonWow, I just got back from the most amazing trip ever! My family and I went to the Grand Canyon in Arizona for our summer vacation. I had seen pictures of it before, but let me tell you, nothing can prepare you for how incredibly massive and beautiful it is in real life. It's basically a giant hole in the ground, but it's way more than that. It's like a whole other world down there! The Grand Canyon is one of the seven natural wonders of the world. It stretches an amazing 277 river miles long and is over a mile deep in some parts! Can you believe that? A mile straight down! The Colorado River runs along the very bottomand has been carving out the canyon deeper and deeper for millions of years. When you look out over the rim of the canyon, it's just layer after layer of red, orange, and tan rocks stacked up in crazy cool formations. Some of the rocks are so old, they're over 2 billion years old! That's older than dinosaurs! My favorite part was hiking down into the canyon itself on the Bright Angel Trail. It was a pretty tough hike since it's really steep and rocky, but so worth it. The views from inside the canyon were out of this world. The cliffs towered up thousands of feet on either side of us, with the crystal blue sky making everything look even more vibrant. We passed by lots of cool rock formations with funny names like "The Battleship" and "Burro's Ear." My dad said they got their shapes from millions of years of wind and water erosion.About halfway down, we stopped at this cute little green area called Indian Garden. It had trees, a stream, and even a camping area! Our guide told us the name came from the fact that Native American tribes like the Havasupai used to farm there. We had a picnic lunch by the stream and I stuck my hot, sweaty feet right in the cool running water. Heaven! After resting up, we kept on hiking down to the very bottom where the Colorado River flows. That was definitely the hardestpart since it was like a billion degrees down there, but I'm so glad we made it. Seeing that powerful, raging river up close was just breathtaking. We learned that the water is so cold and moves so fast because it's fed by melting snow from the Rocky Mountains hundreds of miles away. No wonder it carved out this ginormous canyon over time!On the way back up, I was huffing and puffing like crazy. My legs felt like overcooked spaghetti noodles. But every time I felt like giving up, I just had to look around me at the incredible canyon walls and that gave me the motivation to keep climbing. If that canyon could withstand millions of years of nature's power, I could handle a few hours of hiking! In the end, we only got to explore a tiny portion of the Grand Canyon, but I'll never forget how small yet strong it made me feel. It's one of the most magnificent places on Earth that humankind gets to witness and enjoy. I put the Grand Canyon at the very top of my list of favorite vacations ever. Sure, I may be a kid, but I know true awesome when I see it! The Grand Canyon is the real awesome sauce.篇3Title: The Magical Land of DisneylandHave you ever dreamed of visiting a place where fairy tales come to life? My family and I went to the Grand Canyon in Arizona, and let me tell you, it was totally awesome! The Grand Canyon is this humongous canyon in the desert, and it's really, really big. Like, you can't even imagine how big it is! It's about 277 river miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and over a mile deep in some parts. Can you believe that? It's so deep that if you stacked four Empire State Buildings on top of each other, they still wouldn't reach the top! When we first got there, we went to the South Rim, which is the most popular spot for visitors. As soon as we stepped out of the car, we were hit with the most incredible view. The canyon stretched out in front of us, with layers and layers of colorful rockformations. It was like someone had taken the biggest paintbrush in the world and painted every shade of red, orange, yellow, and brown across the landscape. We spent the first day just walking along the Rim Trail, stopping at different viewpoints to take in the breathtaking scenery. My favorite was Mather Point, where we could see the Colorado River snaking its way through the canyon floor far below. The next day, we decided to go on a hiking adventure. Our guide, a really cool guy named Mike, took us down the Bright Angel Trail, which leads all the way to the bottom of the canyon. It was a tough hike, let me tell you! We had to walk down, down, down for what felt like forever, switching back and forth along the trail. But every time we turned a corner, there was another amazing view that made it all worthwhile. When we finally reached the bottom, it was like stepping into another world. The canyon walls towered above us, and the air was cooler and more humid than up on the rim. We even got to see some of the wildlife that calls the canyon home, like bighorn sheep and bright blue Steller's jays. After a picnic lunch by the river, it was time to start the long climb back up. I won't lie, it was really, really hard work. My legswere burning, and I had to stop for lots of breaks. But Mike kept encouraging us, and we made it back to the top just in time to watch the most incredible sunset. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the canyon seemed to come alive with color. The rocks glowed in shades of fiery red and orange, and the shadows deepened to a rich purple. It was like nature was putting on a show just for us.I'll never forget that trip to the Grand Canyon. It was like stepping into a different world, full of natural beauty and adventure. I can't wait to go back someday and explore even more of this amazing place. If you ever get the chance to visit the Grand Canyon, you absolutely have to go! It's an experience you'll never forget, and it's one of the most incredible places on Earth. Just make sure you pack plenty of water and snacks for the hike, and get ready for an adventure of a lifetime!篇5My Favorite Place - The Grand CanyonHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite place in the whole wide world - the GrandCanyon! It's this huuuuge canyon in Arizona that was carved out by the Colorado River over millions and millions of years. When I first saw it on our family vacation last summer, my jaw just dropped. I had never seen anything so massive and amazing before! The Grand Canyon is like a giant hole in the ground, but it's way more than that. It's over a mile deep in some parts and up to 18 miles wide! Can you even imagine how big that is? The rocky layers go down and down, with tons of different colors like red, orange, purple and pink. It almost doesn't even look real.My dad said it took the Colorado River around 5 or 6 million years to carve out all those crazy cliffs and rock formations. The river is still down there at the very bottom, just casually doing its thing after making one of the most incredible natural wonders on Earth. Wild, right? There are SO many fun things to do at the Grand Canyon besides just looking at it, even though that's amazing enough. We went hiking part of the way down the South Kaibab Trail which has awesome views the whole way down. The rangers said to be super careful though because it's a really long and steep hike back up.We also went on a mule ride along the canyon rim. I was a little nervous at first being so high up, but the mules are used to it and knew exactly where to go. The trail followed along the edge and every view was even better than the last. I felt like I could see forever!Another cool thing we did was go rafting down the Colorado River itself. We had an experienced guide take us of course, but it was still pretty bouncy and rapid at some points. We got drenched head to toe, but it was a blast! Seeing the canyon walls towering up on both sides from down on the water was unreal. At night, we went to a ranger talk and got to look through super powerful telescopes at all the bright stars and planets. There's hardly any light pollution, so the night sky is perfectly clear. We saw so many shooting stars too! The ranger said the canyon puts on an amazing "star party" every night. Before we left, we made sure to visit the historic Grand Canyon Village. There's a cool museum all about the canyon's history and Native American culture. And of course I had to get a Grand Canyon t-shirt and some fudge from the gift shop! The Grand Canyon is so unique and beautiful. I feel really lucky that I got to experience it in person. Even with pictures andvideos, nothing can prepare you for how incredibly vast and colorful it is. It's definitely an adventure I'll never forget! If you ever get the chance to visit, you have to go. Put on your hiking shoes and get ready to be amazed! The Grand Canyon isn't just a place, it's like a whole other world. I can't wait to go back someday and explore more of this incredible natural wonder.篇6My Awesome Trip to the Grand CanyonWow, you guys, I just got back from the most amazing trip ever! My family and I went to the Grand Canyon for our summer vacation this year, and let me tell you, it was totally awesome. Like, seriously awesome. The Grand Canyon is this huge canyon in Arizona that was carved out by the Colorado River over millions of years. It's so big, you can't even imagine how big it is until you see it with your own eyes. The canyon itself is 277 river miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and over a mile deep! That's taller than any building in the whole world. When you stand on the rim and look out over it, it's like a whole other world down there. We stayed in a little town called Tusayan, right outside the south entrance to Grand Canyon National Park. Our hotel had a swimming pool, which was really nice since it gets super hot in Arizona in the summer. The first day we drove along the rim and stopped at all the different viewpoints to take pictures and just stare out in amazement. The views are mind-blowingly beautiful, with the crazy layers of red, orange, and brown rock. My little brother kept saying it looked like a giant slice of rainbow cake!On the second day, we went hiking partway into the canyon itself on the Bright Angel Trail. That was simultaneously the coolest and most tiring thing I've ever done. Going down was fun and easy, with awesome views around every switchback. But coming back up...wow. It's NO JOKE trying to climb back out of that giant hole! We only went a couple miles before turning around, but I was still completely exhausted. And it was scorching hot on the trail, despite it being "only" like 90 degrees up on the rim. Definitely bring tons of water if you're going to hike! One of the highlights was visiting an old mining town called Grand Canyon Village, which is right on the south rim. It has the biggest, fanciest lodge called El Tovar, cute little cottages where people can stay, and even an old power plant from way back in1926. We got ice cream and wandered around the historic buildings, trying to imagine what it would have been like to live there and work in the mines nearly 100 years ago. So crazy!Another really cool thing we did was go on a helicopter tour of the canyon. I was a little nervous at first, being up in a helicopter over such an enormous hole in the ground. But the views from up in the air were unbelievable! You could see everything - the winding Colorado River down at the very bottom, the crazy zig-zag patterns in the rock layers, even some hidden waterfalls and Native American dwellings tucked away in side canyons. The pilot did some fun dips and turns so we could get a glimpse straight down into the deepest parts. I don't get motion sick, but my dad sure looked a little green! On our last day, we drove up to the less-visited north rim, which is way higher in elevation. Can you believe the north and south rims are actually over a mile higher than each other? It's because the Colorado Plateau slopes upwards as you go north. Anyway, the viewpoints up there gave us a totally different perspective, looking out across the widest part of the canyon. The colors seemed more muted and bluish from up there too. We saw the most amazing sunset, with the canyon turningshades of purple and red as the sun sank behind the rocks. Definitely an unforgettable sight.I could go on and on about all the awesome things we saw and did at the Grand Canyon, but I'm running out of room here! Just let me say that if you ever get a chance to go, you absolutely have to take it. The Grand Canyon is one of the mostjaw-dropping, beautiful, amazing natural wonders in the entire world. I'm so grateful I got to experience its majesty in person with my own eyes. It's something I'll never, ever forget!。

We can see movies or chat on the net with friends, go to gyms after work, or visit museums in weekends. I love to see people around, but the country is too quiet. There's no night life in the countryside. And there are much fewer TV channels, so it must be so boring to live in the countryside. Meanwhile, there are no jobs in the countryside and we can make no money there. Frankly speaking, city life is much more colorful and meaningful than country life. 介绍景点的英语作文篇5The Great Wall of China is a Chinese fortification built from the 5th century BC until the beginning of the 17th century,in order to protect the various dynasties from raids by Hunnic,Mongol,Turkic, and other nomadic tribes coming from areas in modern-day Mongolia and Manchuria.Several walls, also referred to as the Great Wall of China, were built since the 5th century BC,the most famous being the one built between 220 BC and 200 BC by the first Emperor of China,Qin Shi Huang; this wall was located much further north than the current wall built during the Ming Dynasty, and little of it remains. The Great Wall of China was originally a project of the Chairman Mao during the Cultural revolution designed to keep out the nomadic Xiongnu invaders from the north. Some of the wall was built during the Qin,but most of it that we see today was constructed during the Ming dynasty. The Great Wall is the world's largest man-made structure, stretching over a formidable 6,352 km (3,948 miles),from Shanhai Pass on the Bohai Sea in the east,at the limit between "China proper" and Manchuria (Northeast China),to Lop Nur in the southeastern portion of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region .Along most of its arc,it roughly delineates the border between North China and Inner Mongolia.See List of largest buildings in the world l love great wall.how wonderful!介绍景点的英语作文篇6Emei Mountain is one of the four famous mountains of Chinese Buddhism.
