Sandwich, a typical Western food, is usually two bread slices with a filling in between. The sandwich generation, like the design of the sandwich, consists of middle-aged people who must care for their elderly parents and their growing children at the same time.The sandwich generation is under significant financial and emotional stress: parents may be ill or lack a sufficient pension, while kids may require tuition and training. At the same time, the members of the sandwich generation must contribute to their own work.

In my opinion both sandwich people and the government have the duty to provide old people .

Surely sandwich generation is faced with a lot of pressures, But their parents had raised them hardly, they should do anything to get them better.

Government, on the other hand, should share some part of the responsibility with the sandwich people. Generally speaking ,government should serve for common people because it take taxes from them.

Sometimes the government plays a key role in pension, such as building more nursing homes can greatly reduce sandwich generation burden .

In a word , a sound pension system is build up by social efforts together .

In our modern life science and technology is so familiar for us, such as computer, TV are both the gift of science and technology, since the watt invented the steam engine, the whole world is entering the era of science and technology.Science and technology is realing changing our life,we can feel the change from the following aspects:

First, it change the way we communication. now we can know every important thing in the world timely at home by internet ,TV,cell phone and so on .While in the ancient times, we can only rely on simple tools for communication, so we can't get the important information as timely as now. Second , Science and technology makes our life more comfortable and convenient.for example, we have air conditioning in summer, heating system in winter,prevent hot and cood from humans . What is more,We can receive the remote education at home.And We can arrive our destination by car,by train or by plane arrive more quickly.

Firstly , Science and technology make our lives more comfortable, more convenient .
