Yi's potato cooking recipes

1. potato-mushroom-meat:

Materials:potato pieces (flushed with water), mushroom, pork(or beef or chicken) slices or small pieces, eggplant pieces (if you like), spicy pepper(more or less according to yourself),salt, plant oil

Seasonings: garlic, ginger, green onion (cut all into pieces); pepper (pfeffer or sth like that), star anise;

Sauce:Chinese soybean sauce(the thickest dark one in Asian shops, its Chinese name is "Lao Chou")

Procedures:

1.put 2-3 spoons of plant oil into pan and heat it about 1 min on the electric stove with the power grade "6 or 5";

2.put all the seasonings into the heated pan and stir them to release their good smell (about 1 min with the power grade "6 or 5");

3.put the meat pieces into the heated pan and stir them from time to time until the good smell is given out and the meat's color become well done (about 2 min with the power grade "6 or 5");

4.add the potato and mushroom ( and the spicy pepper and eggplant) into the pan, and keep stirring for about 3 min;

5.add 3 spoons of Chinese soybean sauce and one or half spoon of salt into the food, stirring for about 0.5 min;

6.add about 50-100 mL of water, put the cover onto the pan and keep heating the dish with the power grade 4 for about 15 min. During the heating, stir it for 2 or 3 times in case it becomes burned.

Now, it's done.

(just put all materials, seasonings, and sauce into electric rice cooker, also some water (lower than the top of all stuffs), then press the switch. Just waiting about 30-40 min, it’s done. Very simple )

“Lao Chou” (Dark soybean sauce):

(Don’t buy Japanese soybean sauce. It’s not thick enough and without rich favor)

Materials:potato pieces (flushed with water), mushroom, duck (cut into pieces), spicy pepper(more or less according to yourself),salt, plant oil Seasonings: garlic, ginger, green onion (cut all into pieces); pepper (pfeffer or sth like that), star anise;

Sauce:Chinese soybean sauce(the thickest dark one in Asian shops, its Chinese name is "Lao Chou")

Beer: one bottle of beer (ab.500 mL, it shouldn’t be bitter)

Procedures:

Similar with the first recipe. At the last step, using one bottle of beer instead of 50-100 ml water. Boil it until the beer is mostly evaporated.
