军队文职人员招聘——外国文学史复习资料第一章古代文学欧洲古代文学包括古希腊文学和古罗马文学。

古希腊神话是原始氏族社会的精神产物,是古希腊人集体创造的口头创作,是欧洲最早的文学形式,大约产生于公元前8世纪以前。

分为神的故事和英雄传说两大部分。

古希腊文学的最高成就是荷马史诗。

1、古希腊神话的特点:一是想象力极强。

它把自然界万事万物拟人化、神话化,也把人类精神领域、感情领域和社会生活领域的现象拟人化、神话化了,而且人情入理,合乎逻辑,创造出令人难忘的意境和鲜明的形象。

如阿波罗的爱情故事,法厄同驾太阳车的故事,潘多拉盒子的故事等。

二是故事性极强。

希腊神话故事,普遍具有来龙去脉,前因后果,而且情节曲折,起伏跌宕,娓娓道来,十分动听。

如宙斯和伊俄的故事,哈得斯的婚姻故事,普罗米修斯的故事等。

三是哲理性极强。

希腊神话,既富有情趣,又极其深刻,是古希腊先民劳动积累和生活经验的凝聚,也是早期人类智慧和思考的结晶,许多故事都寓意颇丰,发人深思,成为后世人类共同的精神财富。

如不和的金苹果的故事,西绪福斯的故事,安泰俄斯的故事,赫拉克勒斯选择人生道路的故事等。

古希腊三大悲剧家:埃斯库罗斯、索福克勒斯、欧里庇得斯。

2、荷马史诗的内容及艺术特点:《伊利昂纪》(又译《伊利亚特》)和《奥德修纪》(又译《奥德赛》)是古代希腊的两大史诗,相传是由一个名叫荷马的诗人所作。

故称荷马史诗。

荷马史诗是古希腊文学辉煌的代表,两千年来一直被看作是欧洲叙事诗的典范。

内容:荷马史诗用神话方式表现了特定的社会历史内容。

《伊利昂纪》题名的原意是“伊利昂的故事”,写的是希腊人围攻特洛伊城的故事。

《奥德修纪》题名原意是“奥德修斯的战争”,它写的是希腊英雄奥德修斯在特洛伊战争结束后还乡的故事。

艺术特点:①在题材处理及谋篇布局上显示了惊人的水平。

②荷马擅长人物性格的刻画。

③荷马的叙述具有某些显著的特点,那就是明晰、快捷、生动和灵活中不失沉稳与庄严。

④象征手段的运用给直接、明快的表述增添了耐人寻味的余地,拓宽了作品的纵深。

3、古希腊悲剧的特点①古希腊悲剧的内容,基本取材于神话和传说,荷马史诗和史诗系列是悲剧诗人们频频光顾的创作源泉。

②在艺术形式方面,悲剧由话语和唱段组成。

话语通常用三音段(或六音步)短长格表述,而唱段则采用众多的抒情格写成。

悲剧的布局一般包含:开场白,入场歌,场,场次之间的唱段,终场。

有的悲剧直接从入场歌开始,如埃斯库罗斯的《祈援人》。

4、古罗马文学发展的三个阶段及代表作家(1)共和时期(前240—前30)代表作家:利维乌斯、埃纽斯、普劳图斯(2)黄金时期(前100—17)代表作家:卢克莱修、贺拉斯(《诗艺》是他文学批评的代表作。

《诗艺》在古典主义时期被视为经典)、维吉尔(《埃涅阿斯纪》是欧洲文学史上第一部文人史诗。

)(3)白银时期(17—130)代表作家:卢肯、普鲁塔克5、圣经文学的特征:①圣经文学体现了民族性和世界性的统一。

6、印度两大史诗的特点印度两大史诗是《摩诃婆罗多》和《罗摩衍那》。

《罗摩衍那》的故事情节比较紧凑,虽然也插人不少神话传说,但不像《摩诃婆罗多》那样枝蔓庞杂,主要人物性格丰满,随着矛盾的发展而变化发展。

注重风景描写,而且做到情景交融。

它不像《摩诃婆罗多》样采取纯客观的态度描写风景,而是通过史诗.人物的眼睛描写。

《罗摩衍那》和《摩诃婆罗多》一样,主要采用简单易记的阿奴湿图朴诗律。

文体风格总的来说明白晓畅,但已开始出现雕镂的倾向。

由此,《罗摩衍那》成了古典梵语诗歌最直接的先导。

因而,印度传统上将《罗摩衍那》称作“最初的诗”,并将传说中的作者蚁侄称作“最初的诗人”。

第二章中世纪文学7、欧洲中世纪文学的基本特点与类型:▲基本特点:(1)思想特点:①基督教思想制约着中世纪文化。

②在各种文化的交融中,特别是在中世纪封建制度和封建国家形成与确立的历史条件的作用下,中世纪文学突出了各民族文学遗产中的一个基本思想——爱国主义和英雄主义。

③中世纪作为等级森严的社会结构形态,还出现了特定阶层的文学作品和文学现象。

(2)艺术特征:①由于各种不同性质文化的相互交融,古代的、当代的、东方的、西方的、宗教的、世俗的等各种各样的题材进人了文学艺术创作领域,从而极大地拓展了中世纪欧洲文学的描写范围。

②欧洲中世纪文学的艺术形式得到了长足的发展。

与古希腊古罗马时代比较起来,艺术形式更为成熟。

③由于各种文化的影响,在艺术表现手法上有了进一步的开拓。

寓意、象征、梦幻、哲理、现实描写、浪漫抒情乃至运用动物故事等都流行于一时,采用各种艺术手法写成的成功作品比比皆是。

④对文学情感特性把握的能力进一步提高。

▲类型:欧洲中世纪文学按其性质分类,主要包括教会文学、史诗与谣曲、骑士文学和城市市民文学。

8、《神曲》在文学史上的意义:《神曲》的伟大历史价值在于,它以极其广阔的画面,通过对诗人幻游过程中遇到的上百个各种类型的人物的描写,反映出意大利从中世纪向近代过渡的转折时期的现实生活和各个领域发生的社会、政治变革,透露了新时代的新思想—人文主义的曙光。

《神曲》对中世纪政治、哲学、科学、神学、诗歌、绘画、文化,作了艺术性的阐述和总结。

因此,它不仅在思想性、艺术性上达到了时代的先进水平,是一座划时代的里程碑,而且是一部反映社会生活状况、传授知识的百科全书式的鸿篇巨制。

9、中古亚非文学的特点(1)思想特点:①在宗教思想影响下,表现出超越现实、追求无限的思想倾向。

②主观内省精神的表现。

③伦理道德观念的突出表现。

④怀疑和叛逆精神的表现。

⑤自然山水情趣的表现。

(2)艺术特点:①对和谐美的追求。

②表现型文学占主导地位。

③在人物形象塑造方面,主要有两类形象最为突出。

一类是道德君子和忠勇之士,另一类是妇女形象。

④自成一格的文学样式和文学表现形式。

⑤创作方法和风格的多样性。

第三章文艺复兴时期文学10、人文主义文学的特征第一,就文学的文化主旨精神而言,人文主义文学与当时的哲学、科学、艺术等领域一样,对人的关注成为这一文学文化精神的核心。

第二,着力描写现世生活,肯定人的权力,用个性解放反对禁欲主义,用理性反对蒙昧主义,这是人文主义文学的基本题材与主题。

第三,由于文学精神的根本性变更和题材与主题的根本性转换,使得人文主义文学的艺术风貌也发生了极其深刻的变化。

首先,展示人的精神世界、情感特征、欲望要求等成为人文主义文学的基本艺术追求。

其次,与展示人的精神风貌相适应,中世纪宗教文学中以“寓意”和“象征”为特点的基本创作方法,已被一种关注现实、关注人生的新方法所取代。

另外,人文主义文学也扩大了传统文学的体裁领域。

11、各国代表作家及创作特点(1)意大利:意大利是欧洲文艺复兴运动的发源地,人文主义思想在但丁的作品中就已露端倪。

他与其后出现的两个作家彼特拉克和薄伽丘,被称为佛罗伦萨文坛上的“三杰”。

彼特拉克:被誉为“人文主义之父”。

他第一个指出,“人学”和“神学”是两个对立的概念。

《歌集》在艺术上继承了“温柔的新体”诗派传统,大量采用十四行诗体,并使这种诗体达到完美的境地。

作品重在抒发个人感情,并运用意大利语写作,使诗歌更接近现实生活。

这些新的特点对后世欧洲的诗歌形式及内容产生了很大的影响。

(2)法国:法国的人文主义文学的显著特点是自始至终存在着贵族与平民两种倾向。

拉伯雷《巨人传》。

(3)西班牙:最著名的是流浪汉小说和骑士文学。

流浪汉小说代表作是无名氏的《小癞子》。

西班牙人文主义文学的杰出作家是塞万提斯。

(4)英国:托马斯·莫尔《乌托邦》12、塞万提斯的创作成就塞万提斯具有深厚的文学底蕴,他深深扎根于西班牙文学传统之中,在吸取了拉丁文古典小说、英雄史诗、西班牙民歌、田园小说、传奇小说、流浪汉小说和骑士小说的一些特点的基础上,他把对社会各阶层的描写同对社会现实的描绘结合起来,逼真地再现出贵族绅士的专横跋扈和普通百姓的辛酸苦辣。

塞万提斯对文学创作中的现实与虚构、创作与阅读之间的关系提出了在当时看来全新的观念,对现代小说的创作产生了不可估量的影响。

13、莎士比亚的创作成就:莎士比亚悲剧以《哈姆莱特》、《奥瑟罗》、《李尔王》和《麦克白》最为著名,它们被公认为是莎士比亚的“四大悲剧”。

第四章17世纪古典主义文学14、古典主义理论主张:(1)受到王权的直接干预,在政治思想上主张国家统一,反对封建割据,歌颂英明的国王,把文学和现实政治结合得非常紧密(2)宣扬理性,要求克制个人情欲。

(3)尖锐地抨击贵族的奢侈淫逸、腐化堕落,同时也批判资产阶级的愚顽、附庸风雅和想成为贵族的心理。

(4)古典主义悲剧多以帝王将相、宫闹秘事为题材,继承了古希腊悲剧的传统。

15、古典主义戏剧基本特征:(1)古典主义的悲剧和喜剧与古希腊古罗马的悲剧和喜剧已有很大的不同,它们已具备现代戏剧的基本形式,有一定的幕数,适宜于在一定的时间内演出。

戏剧冲突十分尖锐,心理刻画非常细腻,达到了悲剧和喜剧的新高峰。

(2)有一套严格的艺术规范和标准。

戏剧创作要遵守“三一律”,即情节、时间、地点必须保持“整一”。

(3)主张语言准确、精练、华丽、典雅,表现出较多的宫廷趣味。

(4)人物塑造类型化。

16、高乃依的创作成就:皮埃尔·高乃依(1606-1684)是古典主义悲剧的创始人。

他的风格最突出的特点是庄严崇高,这也是古典主义所追求的理想美。

他的剧本题材和内容崇高庄严,代表作有《熙德》,《贺拉斯》等。

17、莫里哀的创作成就:莫里哀(1622-1673)是世界上数一数二的喜剧家。

他的喜剧成就超过了古典主义悲剧,成为法国古典主义最杰出的代表。

首先,莫里哀对喜剧的形式加以改造。

在他之前,喜剧的情节荒唐,充斥着海盗劫掠、多角恋爱、女扮男装、误会重叠、调换襁褓、海难沉船、最后认亲等俗套。

这类喜剧谈不上什么社会意义。

莫里哀则写出风俗喜剧和性格喜剧,从根本上改造了旧喜剧。

其次,在任务性格方面,往往是嗜癖型的。

从典型发展角度来说,这种性格基本上单一的人物虽属早期的产物,但是仍然具有重要价值。

另外,莫里哀对喜剧手法进行过深入的探索,对喜剧艺术作出了巨大贡献。

第五章18世纪启蒙文学18、启蒙文学的基本特点和概况(1)“理性崇拜”是启蒙运动的思想核心,也是启蒙文学的思想基础。

(2)启蒙文学反封建反教会的思想内容,较之文艺复兴人文主义文学具有更强烈的政治性和革命性。

(3)启蒙文学的主人公较之以往的文学发生了根本性变化。

启蒙文学把资产阶级和其他平民当作主人公甚至英雄人物进行描写,成功地塑造了一系列不朽的艺术典型。

(4)启蒙作家的理性崇拜和渴望参加现实斗争的倾向,使启蒙文学具有鲜明的哲理性和政论性。

(5)在文体形式方面,启蒙作家逐渐扬弃古典主义关于体裁高低之分的清规戒律,平等地广泛采用小说、诗歌、戏剧和文艺性的政论等各种文体,打破了自古以来诗体文学独尊的局面,开创了文学史上的散文时代。
