Advantages and disadvantages of online education
Learning via internet has become more and more popular in our education process, which supplies a whole new approach of learning. Internet allows schools to develop a large amount of learning material that is accessible for students online anytime and anywhere. With the help of the internet, students are able to connect to the world and search for any educational materials needed for their studies or interests, even at home. Internet is not only a big information provider but also very convenient because there are no physical restrictions, such as space and time limitations. Usually classrooms are not needed and students can practice on line as many time as they want. Internet education is available for everyone to register, and access to teachers or classmates is quick and easy. The increase of online education is certain to occur. So in my opinion, the popularity of online education in the future is certainly unavoidable/ inevitable/ inescapable.
The First Day I Came to College
I still remember the first day when I came to college. It was a sunny day and everything seemed fresh to me. I was very excited like other freshmen, because my dream of becoming a college student had come true. This was really a turning point in my life. Looking at the modern classroom buildings and the grand library, I felt proud of my college. I knew that it would be a good opportunity for me to obtain a great deal of knowledge useful for my future career and the society, but studying at college was also a great challenge to me, for I had to learn how to overcome the difficulties in my study and life. Anyway, I was determined to study hard in order to live up to the expectations of my parents and my friends. I was sure that I could face the challenge, make the best of the opportunity and prove myself a worthy college student.

Leisure activities (positive)
Taking part in some societies and clubs can help us to make better use of our leisure time. It would do good to us on campus in several aspects. Firstly, by joining a club we can develop or pursue our own interest, which also provides a good opportunity for us to meet people and make new friends with the same hobby. Secondly, working Inside the clubs or societies, we can develop our leadership skills, abilities to solve problems and techniques to cooperate with others. Last but not the least, it can help us to make a complete CVs to secure future career and get better adapted to society. All in all, leisure activity is really a practical and effective way to enhance our healthy and balanced life on campus, which would help us function properly and thus develop into a well-rounded individual.

Living on One’s Own
When it comes to the topic of living on one’s own, I think it mainly involves the concept of being responsible, decisive and creative. On one hand, we should be responsible to what we have done and to what we will do. Instead of keeping up with every task assigned by our parents and teachers, we’ve got to deal with our own duties without being told to. Living on one’s own, on the other hand, also means that we should make our own decisions without hurting anybody’s feelings and without our parents’ authority. What’s more, we must learn to face and handle the outcome of the decision. Living independently also means making your own plan in a creative way without following others’ ideas. In a word, living on one’s own is to take the responsibilities of whatever we do, make decisions by ourselves and bear the results of those decisions.
