英国卫报遴选“1000本死前必读小说”

英国卫报（Guardian）在2009年一月，由一群专业人士选出了1000本每个人在死前必读的小说，不是选最佳小说，也不是选最喜爱的小说，而是选必读小说。这个榜单不分语言与年代，排除长诗、回忆录与短篇小说，共选出1000本七大类的小说，由于我本人学艺不精，只认得Crime这一个字，所以我就整理了这一类的147本，把有无中译、有无改编电视电影作一整理。最早是1844年大仲马的《基度山恩仇记》，最新的则是2008年Richard Price的《Lush Life》。
