Good afternoon , Dear professors . I feel so glad to meet all of you here. I’m **** , 22 years old, born in XiaoGan, a beautiful city of HuBei Province. When you get along with me for some time, you will find me a detail-oriented、steady and enterprising girl.
I will graduating from Gulin University of Electronic Technology this summer , majoring in Computer Science and Technology. During my college year, I have been awarded scolarships serveral times for my hard working, even the national scholarship.
I like computer very much, especially in network and information technology , so I wanted to make some achievement in this field. I have had a good command of how to build a website And until now I have finished some projects cooperating with others. We are learning and sharing with each other, which rewards us greater progress and more aspiration. However, with time going on, the more I experienced, the clearer I realized that what I had learned was not enough for this target. I'm eager to learn more about computer technology and I hope I can study further in this University.
Well, as the saying goes, all work and no play make Jack a fool. My hobbies enrich my life from another aspect. In my spare time, I like hand-making, which can relax my mind and body. I am also interested in outdoor sports, especially climbimg with friends. Climbing not only can offer me wonderful time, but also can build my body.

Introduce your college
Guilin University of Ectronic Technology is one of four national University of Electronic Technology.It mainly consists two parts:the old Jinjiling compus and the new Huajiang compus.The old compus is smaller,but it's still full of dense academic atmosphere.While the new compus where I study is located in the suburb.Surrounded by the mountains,it shows quietness and peace.What's more important,there stands a big and beatiful library with a mass of books.It provide us with more chances to explore the ocean of knowledge. In a word, I'd like to thank my University，which give me a good academic environment and a better university life。

Introduce Guilin（母校所在城市）
Guilin is in the north of Guangxi. The population in the city of Guilin is more than six hundred thousand. There are famous and beautiful sceneries in Guilin. If you come to Guilin, you will know how clear the water is and how green the hills are. Every year many tourists come to Guilin for a visit, deeply impressed and giving high praises. You can take a boat to see the scenes of the Li River. You can also visit the scenic spots in the city on free buses, such as Elephant Trunk Hill、Seven Star Park and so on. You will enjoy yourself if you go to Guilin.
Introduce your family
In my family, there are four members, my farther, my mother, my elder brother and I. My father is a construction worker and my mother is a farmer.My parents felt pity that they dropped
out of the middle school because of poor conditions. However, they strongly believe that knowledge changes fate. Surely, they support me and my brother to further our study. I call my family every week. I know they are happy with my voice. I love my parents and they love me, too. Parents’ love is unselfish,I am deeply affected, so I will do all what I can to repay them. And maybe now they are being kept on the phone ,waiting for my good news.
Introduce your hometown
Xiao Gan is one important birthplace of filial piety culture.It was denominated[dɪ'nɑmɪnet] by a story that in the East[ist] Han Dynasty['daɪnəsti] a dutiful son Dong Yong sold himself to bury his dead father,which moved the Gods in the heaven['hÉ vn] and on earth. Impressed by this kind of culture, I put it into action. I call my family every week. I know they are happy with my voice. In addition, the two major specialties of Xiao Gan are the sesame['sɛsəmi] candy and the rice wine, which have been regarded as famous festival gifts.
Do you have any hobbies?
In my spare time, I like hand-making, which can relax my mind and body. a lot of gadgets made by myself in my free time,such as Chinese knot,brush pot,bookmark and so on. I also like outdoor sports, especially climbimg with friends. Climbing not only can offer me wonderful time, but also can build my body.Standing on the top of the mountain,you can enjoy the fresh air and the fascinating scenery.
About your future plans
(What do you expect to achieve during your study if you are enrolled into this institute?) There must be many things to learn if I were enrolled into my ideal research field. I hope I can build up a systematic view of computer science, especially in the fields of network. On the other hand, I am dreaming of the participation of some relevant projects of my major, for this reason, I will get more experience in practice. In a word, I am looking forward to making up a solid foundation for future profession. I believe working hard will finally be repaied .
Research experience and academic activity
When I was a sophomore, I joined the student Association for Science and Technology in our department. I have had a good command of how to build a website And until now I have finished some projects cooperating with others. We are learning and sharing with each other, which rewards us greater progress and more aspiration. However, with time going on, the more I experienced, the clearer I realized that what I had learned was not enough for this target. So I choose to further my study with a master degree.
Introduce your reason for preparing the postgraduate exam
I like computer very much, especially in network and information technology , so I wanted to make some achievement in this field. I have learned how to build a website and also finished some projects cooperating with others. We are learning and sharing with each other, which let us make a great deal of progresses and get more inspirations. However, with time going on, the more I experienced, the clearer I realized that what I had learned was not enough for this target. I thought
it would be great if I can continue my interest in that, so that was why I choose to further my study with a master degree.I'm eager to learn more about computer technology and I hope I can study further in this University.
Why did you choose our university?（Why do you choose to study in our department?）
I am deeply impressed by the academic atmosphere when browsing the website of your department. Harbin Institute of Technology（HIT）with their wisdom and hard work of the high-tech sector in our country continue to create a another miracle, one after another to fill the gaps.In my opinion, as one of the most famous university in our country, it
provides people with enough room to get further enrichment. There are many excellent teachers and teaching resources in the major that I applied for,I believe I can learn a lot in your university during my three years of post-graduate study.

What is your greatest strength？
I feel that my strongest asset is that I am very organized. While studying in college other students like to borrow my class notes. My personal items and paperwork are sorted nicely. When I am not at seat, others can easily find the document they want from my desk or my computer. I believe being organized is a habit which everyone can have if he persists.
As a planner,(I am a planner and ) my motto is“If you fail to plan you plan to fail.”For example，I make a shopping list so I never wander in supermarket wondering what is needed. It’s a good way to save time and money.
What is your greatest weakness?
I am not a great public speaker. When speaking in public I feel uncomfortable unless the topic is familiar. So I have to be well prepared before giving a presentation. I do admire those who can talk about anything any time. Indeed, I spent almost two days in preparing for this interview. But Right now I wish I'd spent a lot more time preparing.
Otherwise,I set unrealistic goals sometimes. For example, accomplish the mian site pages in a week, or finish typing a form in an hour. The truth is that I know they are hard to achieve even when I am setting them, but I can’t resist doing so for I need to be motivated by aiming high. But my friends sometimes criticizes me for being unrealistic when making plans.

How do you feel about your progress to date?
I think I did well in school. In fact, in a number of courses I received the highest exam scores in the class. During my college year, I have been awarded scolarships serveral times for my hard working, even the national scholarship.I believe working hard will finally be repaied .
