Lesson1 Ping-pong and Basketball

一、教学目标:

1.学生能够听懂、会说,认读并书写单词sport,ping-pong,basketball,football, some, any;能够在恰当的情景中运用句型What’s your favourite sport? My favoutite sport is ____./ ____ is my favourite sport. / I like ____ best. What do you wear? I wear ____ to play ____.

2.学生能够运用所学的英语词汇和句式解决体育运动中所遇到的问题。

3.通过本课的学习,学生能够了解一些体育项目并逐渐喜欢体育运动。

二、教学重、难点:

1.重点:学生能够四会单词sport,ping-pong,basketball,football, some, any;能够在恰当的情景中运用句型What’s your favourite sport? My favoutite sport is ____./ ____ is my favourite sport. / I like ____ best. What do you wear? I wear ____ to play ____.

2.难点:区别“some”和“any”的用法,并能正确使用。

五、教学过程

Step1 Greeting and free talk

T: Hello, boys and girls. Welcome back to school. Did you have fun in winter holiday? What did you do?

S1: I went on a trip with my family.

T: What did I do in the winter holiday? Can you guess?

S1: …

T: I played basketball with my daughter.

(设计意图:通过free talk的形式将学生带入到英语的情景中去,帮学生调整到英语思维,锻炼学生的英语口语表达能力,同时为引出本课教学内容做铺垫。) Step2 New lesson

1. Learn the new words.

T: Please look at the picture. What’s this?

Ss: It’s a basketball.

T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s a football.

T: What’s this?

Ss: It’s ping-pong.

T: Basketball is a sport.

T: Football is…

Ss: Football is a sport.

Ss: Ping-pong is a sport.

T: What else are sports?

S1: Badminton is a sport.

(设计意图:由浅入深,通过单词的学习逐步引入到句子中去。给学生一个例句作为引子Basketball is a sport.,目的是引导学生说出更多这样的句子来。)

2. Learn the new sentences.

T: What sports does Jenny play? And what sports does Li Ming play? Let’s listen to the tape and answer these questions.

S1: Jenny plays basketball and football.

S2: Li Ming plays football and ping-pong.

T: Is football their favourite sport?

Ss: No.

T: What does Jenny like best? And what is Li Ming’s favourite sport? Now let’s listen again and find out these answers.

S1: Jenny likes basketball best.

S2: Ping-pong is Li Ming’s favourite sport.

(设计意图:通过听课文的形式学习本课的重点句型。在听之前给学生提出问题,让学生带着问题找出答案,既引出了本课重点句型又锻炼了学生的听力。)

3. Practice the sentences.

T: What sports do you like best?

S1: I like ping-pong best.

S2: …

T: Now let’s make a dialogue with your partner.

A: What sports do you play?

B: I play…

A: What is your favourite sport? / What sports do you like best?

B: My favourite sport is…/…is my favourite sport. / I like…best.

(设计意图:通过问答和自编对话的形式练习本课重点句型,让学生充分体会句子的运用场景。)
