Step 1Warm-up
1、学生唱英语歌曲，朗诵英文小诗。
2、师生互致问候。
3、复习上节课所学的单词和句型。
1、将句型“What do you do？”变为第三人称“What does your mother/ father do？”放慢速度，当说到does和your mother/ father时加重语气，并且重复这个词，让学生反复感知第三人称单数的变化之处。
2、在练习第三人称单数的句型时，出示一张以饭店为背景并画有waiter的图片，提问：“What does she do？”引出新单词waitress。

2、使用英语互致问候。
3、使用简单的英语谈论自己的寒假生活和新学期打算。
4、与老师一起复习相关职业类单词。
Step 2 Work in pairs
1、创设情景，启发学生，引出新句型“What do you do?”及回答方式。
2、让学生用新句型来提问，在回答时用这部分的其他几个词做替换练习。
1、朗读例句，试着完成相应句子。
2、用同样的方式完成第二句。
3、核对答案，并朗读句子。

我们一起来回忆一下，这节课我们重点研究了一个什么问题？你有什么收获呢？
一起回忆本节课所学内容。
Step 6 Homework
1、听磁带，读单词、句型，家长签字。
2、听磁带，预习Lesson1课文。
3、将字母组合写在单词上方，告诉学生“oo”在此都发/u：/的音。
4、用对比的方法教另外一组单词，让学生注意区分这两组字母组合的发音，第一组发长音/u:/，第二组发短音/u/。
5、让学生跟读两遍，记忆两组单词的特征，并举出更多的例子练习拼读。
1、认真听录音，找出这六个单词所包含的相同发音：/u:/
4、使用重点句型造句，让学生通过范例造出新的句子。
5、播放录音，带领学生朗读对话，注意语音、语调和感情的把握。
1、带着老师所提问题认真听录音，并捕捉重要信息。

3、再次听录音，学习重点短语和句子。
4、使用句型造句。

Step 4 Practise
完成书中Complete each sentence with the right word.
1、让一名学生朗读例句，然后启发学生模仿这个例句，在待填句子的空白处填上相应的单词。
2、用同样的学习方式完成第二个句子。
3、检查学习的答案，同时检测前面呈现的painter和cook这个单词的掌握情况。
3、学生提问，老师回答。
4、边做表示职业类单词的动作，边练习句型。
1、跟读并理解新句子。
2、学生观察书中所出现的单词，替换练习新句型。
3、学生提问，老师回物的职业图片进行句型练习。
在教学新举行时，应加重语气、放慢速度，并重复几遍，让学生跟读，感知新句型。
Step 3 Listen and practise
此段对话内容不难，可以作为听力训练材料。
Step 3 Look，listen and say.
1、先让学生听单词food，moon，room，spoon，root，zoo，并请他们判断这六个单词中都包含了哪一个相同的发音。
2、将单词写在黑板上，让学生找出这六个单词都包含有哪两个相同的字母，并在其下面画上横线。

Step 2 Let's talk.
1、先由老师提出问题，让学生带着问题听录音。
2、播放对话录音，让学生了解对话大意，并回答老师提出的问题。
3、播放第二遍录音，让学生进一步理解对话内容，同样以提问的方式引出要重点教学的句子“It's time for work.”和短语“on night duty”。
