本课内容是学习有关身体状况和感受的话题。本节课是四川教育出版新路径小学英语。教材六年级下册Unit1 Lesson3 What’s wrong with you ?中的第二课时。学好本课为更好地学习本单元有关身体状况的话题奠定了基础,也为本单元下面几课时的学习做好了铺垫。

1、学生唱英语歌曲,朗诵英文小诗。

3、复习上节课所学的单词和句型。
1、将句型“What do you do?”变为第三人称“What does your mother/ father do?”放慢速度,当说到does和your mother/ father时加重语气,并且重复这个词,让学生反复感知第三人称单数的变化之处。
2、在练习第三人称单数的句型时,出示一张以饭店为背景并画有waiter的图片,提问:“What does she do?”引出新单词waitress。

2、让学生用新句型来提问,在回答时用这部分的其他几个词做替换练习。
1、朗读例句,试着完成相应句子。
2、用同样的方式完成第二句。
3、核对答案,并朗读句子。

4、用对比的方法教另外一组单词,让学生注意区分这两组字母组合的发音,第一组发长音/u:/,第二组发短音/u/。
5、让学生跟读两遍,记忆两组单词的特征,并举出更多的例子练习拼读。

4、边做表示职业类单词的动作,边练习句型。
1、跟读并理解新句子。
2、学生观察书中所出现的单词,替换练习新句型。
3、学生提问,老师回物的职业图片进行句型练习。
在教学新举行时,应加重语气、放慢速度,并重复几遍,让学生跟读,感知新句型。

1、先让学生听单词food,moon,room,spoon,root,zoo,并请他们判断这六个单词中都包含了哪一个相同的发音。

2、播放对话录音,让学生了解对话大意,并回答老师提出的问题。
3、播放第二遍录音,让学生进一步理解对话内容,同样以提问的方式引出要重点教学的句子“It's time for work.”和短语“on night duty”。
