形容词和副词的比较级
大多数形容词和副词有三个等级: 原级,即原形 比较级,表示“较……”;“更……” 最高级,表示“最……”的意思。
一、形容词的比较级变化形式
构成的规则变化: 1. 单音节词和少数双音节词一般在
词尾加 — er eg.
cold – colder old — older
eg. delicious – more delicious interesting – more interesting serious-more serious
构成的不规则变化: eg. good / well – better
bad / badly – worse many / much – more little – less far – farther / further

二、形容词的比较级的用法
1.表示两者 (人或事物) 的比较。 eg. I am taller than Tom.

2. 在形容词比较级前还可用much, even, still, a little来修饰, 表示“…的多”, “甚 至…”, “更…”, “…一些”。

三、比较两者其他用法
1. 两者在某一方面相同基本句型 “as +形容词或副词原形+as” e.g. I think science is as important as math.

2.一方在某一方面不及对方基本句型 “not as/so +形容词或副词原形+as” e.g. He is not as/ so tall as his brother.
