结果状语从句so…that 和such…that 用法

一、so 相当于是副词，所以可以修饰形容词和副词。

1.so + adj/adv + that…

She is so beautiful that I can’t forget her.她如此的漂亮以致于我不能忘记她。

2.so + adj + a/an+ n.

She is so beautiful a girl that I can’t forget her. 她是如此漂亮的一个女孩以致于我不能忘记她。

3.so many/few + 可数名词复数; so many 表示很多；so few 表示很少

She has so few friends that she feels lonely. 她朋友很少，以致于她感到孤独。

4.so much/little + 不可数名词; so much 表示很多; so little 表示很少

There is so little water in the bottle that it is not enough for so many people.

瓶子里的水很少以致于不能供应给很多人。

二、such相当于形容词，所以修饰名词。

1.such + a/an + adj. + n.+ that…

She is such a beautiful girl that I can’t forget her.

2.such+ adj. + n.（不可数）+ that…

It is such bad weather that we have to stay at home.

天气如此糟糕以致于我们不得不呆在家。

3.such + adj. + n. (可数名词复数) + that…
