自考英汉翻译教程重点
英汉翻译教程一、课程介绍《英汉翻译教程》是全国高等教育自学考试英语专业本科阶段的一门必考课程。
英汉翻译包括英译汉和汉译英，是一门实践性很强的课程。
本课程除简单介绍中外翻译理论知识外，主要是通过对照阅读，引导应考者研究英汉两种语言的差异，找出英汉互译的规律，用以指导实践。
本课程与英语专业其他课程相辅相成。
它作为一门实践课，有赖于英语专业其他课程为应考者打下良好的英语基础，使应考者掌握一定的词汇量和语法知识，初步达到阅读英文原著的水平，并有有定的写作能力，因而具备从事英汉翻译的条件。
另一方面，通过大量的翻译实践和语言对比研究，应考者可以进一步认识英汉两种语言各自的特点。
例如，汉语多重复实词，主谓搭配较松多用并列结构；英语英多用代称，主谓搭配较紧，多用主从结构，等等。
这是本课程的重点。
但在翻译时，往往因受原文的影响，从容易忽略在译中体现上述特点。
这也就是本课程难学之处。
但通常学习本课程，了解了英汉两种语言各自的特点，并能在翻译实践中恰当地加以运用，定会提高使用两种语言的能力和翻译水平。
这对于应考者打好英语基础，学好英语专业其他课程，也是有益的。
本课程采取单元教学，共分十个单元。
单元中每课有对照阅读和练习，并附有提示和解说。
每单元有一小结，重点说明通过语言对比可以看出的英汉两种语言各自的特点。
二、学习要求1.熟悉英汉两种语言各自的特点；2.能将中等难度的英语文章译成汉语，内容准确、内容流畅；3.能将比较简易的汉语文章译英语，用词得当，语法平稳。
三、试题类型：第一题：选择题（30分）。
80%来自于课本中每单元后的小结，非常重要，一定要看。
考点：看似简单的句子的翻译、俚语的翻译、翻译常识等。
第二题：短语翻译：英译汉、汉译英。
后面我们给的补充材料中，会包括80%的题。
第三题：改错题：英译汉、汉译英改错。
第四题：段落翻译四、课程内容概要：第一单元故事1．故事选篇。
其特点是：以第一人称或第三人称讲述自己或别人的经历。

如果选用了复合句，那么要明确哪部分是主句，从句采用的形式，是定语从句、状语从句还是其他的从句。
在一个句子内，主语是什么，谓语用什么时态，是主动还是被动，要不要虚拟语气，这些都要事先筹划好。
然后动笔进行翻译。
遣词造句过程中，要格外注意一些细节问题：（1)仔细斟酌、选用最能确切表达原文意思的英文单词或词组;（2)名词的复数形式，动词的不规则变化，主谓语的一致性：（3)单词的拼写，标点符号，大小写，冠词的使用等。

自学高教自考英语翻译技巧3英汉互译时的词序问题I.两种语言的总体比较：一方面，英汉两种语言都是按照事物发展的客观规律进行的，因而有其共同点，例如：In order to communicate thoughts and feelings，people invented a conventional system of signs or symbols which mean the same to the sender and the receiver. （为了更好的交流思想和感情，人们设计出了通常用的标记和符号系统，而这标记和符号交流双方都能看的懂。
）以上的几个例句在英汉两种语言里的词序都是一样的；而除此以外，还存在着很多不同点。
另一方面，两种语言又有许多不同点。
下面就英汉两种语言的不同点进行比较：汉语比较注重事物发展的客观顺序，先发生什么，后发生什么，结果怎样，最后才加上作者的评论和观点，不管有多少动词都可以并列、排比使用，不会出现词法、句法等的冲突.主题显著，突出主题，而非单单的一个主语，注重句子的“意和”，这就要求我们透过句子的表层结构，深入到句子的内涵，先抓“整体”印象，充分理解过以后再把原文的意思形象翻译出来。
而英语则不然，英语突出主语，往往是评论、观点在前，叙述、原因在后；表面形式上追求句子的“形和”，对句子的结构要求非常严谨，特别强调句子结构的平衡，往往借助于句法、词法（如主从句、分词、不定式等手段）来维持句子表面上的平衡、完整性，极力避免句子的“头重脚轻”（因此，也就出现了许多“it is said that …”等等无主句）。
所以，英文则是把作者的观点、主张放在前面，以后再跟着原因、结果和目的等等从句。
这些现象在新闻英语里尤其明显，难怪有人说，“汉语的句子结构好比一根竹子，一节一节地连下去，而英语的句子结构好比一窜葡萄，主杆可能很短，累累的果实附着在上面。

Unit 2 History考纲内容1.历史文章选篇的特点: 介绍历史情况，说明事实，并阐发其意义。
语言正式，概括性强，不作过细的描写。
2.语言对比：(1) 重复与代称英语不喜欢重复，多用代称；而汉语却不怕重复，多用实称，不用代称。
（2）定语从句英语中大量使用定语从句，可以体现出句子的层次，翻译成汉语时可放在被修饰语之前，或在原地处理，译成并列分句，或移至句首，提前处理。
汉译英时则要注意使用定语从句。
3. 考核要求翻译中要有处理以下问题的能力（1）历史文章的特点及理解方面的难点（2）重复与代称（3）定语从句单元知识解读一、历史文章历史文章的文字比较正式，描述不像故事文章那样细腻，而是笼统地概括或记述历史事件，所用的生活词汇相对较少，政治词汇较多。
历史文章要么记述一个历史事件的始末并阐述其意义，要么记述一个历史时期地发展情况。
历史文章一般具有真实性和可读性。
翻译时一定要忠于原文，注意修辞。
在学习过程中要了解中西方的基本历史知识，积累相关的专业词汇。
语言正式、概括性强是历史文章的特点。
