单分散纳米晶单元的自组装技术是一类自下而上的,在尺度、成分、结构和成本上有望超越当前光刻技术的一个研究热点。通过自组装获得的各种二元或多元纳米晶超晶格,具有精确可控的化学成分和排列结构。然而如何通过纳米晶自组装获得多尺度分级结构,仍然是该领域的一个挑战。本文提出并发展了一种新的纳米晶自组装方案,可一步制备从纳米超晶格到大尺度有序图案化的分级结构,实现成分、功能和多尺度结构上的可设计性。在催化、传感、电子、能源及生物等领域具有重要的应用潜力和前景。 Fig. 1 Self-assembled hierarchical architectures from nanocrystal building blocks

Self-assembly of monodispersed nanocrystals as building blocks has been intensively studied. It is one of the ‘bottom-up’ approaches that may challenge the current lithography techniques in dimension, composition, structure and cost. Abundant binary and ternary nanocrystal superlattices have been obtained though self-assembly with chemical component and structure precisely controlled. However, a major challenge still remains in developing methods achieving hierarchical architectures from nanocrystal self-assembly. Herein, we report a one-step self-assembly method covering the nanoscale superlattice and the macroscale ordered patterns, with designable composition, function and structure. This approach may give new opportunities in applications of catalysis, sensing, electronics, energy and bio-technique.
