(1) Read“Let’s do”. Ask questions: Where do we water the flowers/ read story-books/ have computer classes? Help the students to answer: In the garden/ In the library/ In the computer room.
2. Presentation:
(1) Freely talk“Do you like our school? Why do you like our school?”
(2) Yes, our school is really nice. Today some friends from America are coming to see our school. Chen Jie is showing them around our school. Let’s watch VCD.
(3) Pronunciation for the letter“a”.
4. Consolidation and extension:
Write the four-skilled words and sentences.

(1) Ask“What’s in our school?”Encourage the students to answer in English or in Chinese. Present the new words: teacher’s office, canteen, playground, library, garden. Ask Where is the library? Help the students to answer: It’s on the first floor.
(2) Talk about the positions with“Where”.

2.Then practice the alphabet around the class. Point to a child. He/She says the first letter. Then point to another child. He/She says the next letter,etc. Speed up the activity as much as you can. Ask any child who makes a mistake to stand up. They can then sit down the next time they are able to answer correctly.
