violent scenes, such as Speed, Bodyguard, Scarlet Letter, Forrest Gump and the most violent one

Gladiator , there is no doubt that these violence contributes to the success of the film, and it conveys

the idea that peace or equality can be gained through violence, however, there is also a saying that it

delivers violence to the youth, which is also the reason of why so many young children are

violent-driven in their life. What is your idea on the violent scenes in the movies? Is it good or bad to

the society? Please state your ideas on your answer sheet.

Your answer is supposed to be composed of three parts. In the first part, please state your thesis

(your idea), the second part is for you to defend your idea, and the in the last part, you should

conclude your views.

You have one and a half hours to finish your paper. Both English and Chinese are available. No less
