人教版四年级下册英语第四单元单词全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My New Hobby - Stamp CollectingHi there! My name is Xiao Ming and I'm a 4th grader at Sunshine Primary School. I recently discovered a really cool new hobby that I want to tell you all about - stamp collecting! It all started a few weeks ago when my grandpa came to visit. He's been collecting stamps for ages and has this massive album filled with thousands of different stamps from all over the world. When I saw how excited he got talking about his collection, I got pretty curious about stamps myself.Grandpa showed me his stamp album and let me look through page after page of colorful, interesting stamps. He told me that stamp collecting is called "philately" and that people who collect stamps are known as "philatelists." He explained how stamps can portray a country's culture, history, and famous people through their designs and images. Some stamps even commemorate important events or places. As I flipped through the album, I noticed stamps featuring animals, plants, monuments, maps, flags, sports, and so much more. There were big stamps and tiny stamps in different shapes. Some had perforated edges while others had straight edges. The colors and artwork were beautiful!Grandpa pointed out some of his favorite and most valuable stamps, including some that were over 100 years old! He had stamps from countries that don't even exist anymore like Czechoslovakia. I couldn't believe all the neat stuff I was learning just from looking at these little sticky paper squares. Before he left, Grandpa gave me an empty stamp album and some stamp hinges to start my very own collection. He said collecting stamps would help me learn about geography, history, art, and different cultures around the globe. It sounded like such an exciting new world to explore!Over the next few days, I was on a mission to get as many stamps as I could. I wrote to relatives in other cities and provinces asking them to send me any cool stamps they could find on their mail. I also started collecting stamps off envelopes and packages that my parents received. My dad works at a trading company, so he was able to bring home lots of mail with stamps from different countries. Mystamp stash quickly grew to include stamps from the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, and more. I carefully mounted each new stamp in my album using the stamp hinges so I wouldn't damage them.In school, I asked my English teacher Ms. Li if we could have a stamp swap in class. She loved the idea and said it would be a great way for us to practice our English vocabulary while learning about the world. We all brought in our stamp collections to trade with each other. My friend Lili gave me some beautiful stamps from France that had different flowers and monuments pictured on them.Whenever I got new stamps, I spent hours researching what was depicted on them, where they were from, and any stories behind them using books and websites. I couldn't get enough! Stamp collecting opened up my eyes to amazing places, people, and things that existed all across our planet. My newfound hobby has definitely paid off in other ways too. I've gotten much better at recognizing countries, capitals, currencies, and major landmarks around the world. My geography knowledge has really improved. I've also learned lots of cool facts about famous artists, scientists, historical figures, traditions, and cultural symbols - all just from stamp designs!Stamp collecting has made me eager to travel the world someday and experience different customs and cultures for myself. It's shown me how diverse and interesting our global community is. There's still so much I want to learn and explore through philately.Who knew that these tiny little sticky paper pieces could unlock such a huge world of knowledge and adventure? I'm hooked on stamp collecting for life now! If you're looking for an affordable, educational, and fun new hobby, I highly recommend giving philately a try. You'll get to build an awesome collection while learning about our fascinating world in the process. Happy stamping!篇2My Favorite Weekend ActivitiesHi there! My name is Lily and I'm a 4th grader. I love the weekends because I get to do lots of fun activities after being at school all week. Let me tell you about some of my favorite weekend things to do!On Saturday mornings, my dad often takes me to the park. I really enjoy going there because I get to play on the swings and the slide. Swinging back and forth is so much fun! I pump mylegs and soar up into the air. Sometimes I like to jump off the swing while it's still moving a little bit. My dad always tells me to be careful though. The slide is great too - I love zooming down it super fast! I have to be careful not to go down too quickly though or else I could fall off. One time I went down the slide and a squirrel was at the bottom! I got such a fright. The squirrel probably got scared too. After playing at the park, we sometimes go window shopping downtown. I enjoy looking at all the neat things in the store windows, even though we don't actually go into the shops very often. My favorite window to look at is the toy store - they always have the coolest dolls, games, and stuffed animals in the window! Last week, they had this huge teddy bear that was bigger than me. I asked my dad if I could have it but he said it was too expensive. Maybe for my birthday! In the afternoons, I like playing make-believe games with my best friend Emily who lives next door. We'll often pretend we are explorers searching for treasure or secret agents on an important mission. Once we pretended to be scientists studying animals. I was a marine biologist studying dolphins and Emily was a zoologist learning about pandas. We made workspace for ourselves with toys and pillows and spent hours taking notes andmaking observations. Mom had to call us in for dinner because we got so caught up in our make-believe world! On Sundays, my favorite activity is having a picnic with my family. We pack a cooler full of sandwiches, fruits, veggies, chips, and cookies then head to the local park. First篇3My Awesome Adventure Learning New English Words!Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm a fourth grader. I just finished learning Unit 4 in our English textbook and boy, was it an adventure! Let me tell you all about the cool new words I learned. It all started when our teacher, Ms. Wang, announced we were going to learn about hobbies and activities. I was super excited because I love trying new things and having fun! The first word we learned was "collect." Isn't that a great word? It means to gather things you like over time. My best friend Zoe collects stickers and I collect rocks from different places I visit. So cool, right?Next up was "take photos." This one was easy peasy because we all love snapping pictures these days, don't we? I asked mydad to get me a nice camera for my birthday so I can take photos of anything interesting I see. Whether it's a pretty flower, a playful puppy, or a colorful sunset, I'll be ready to capture it!Then we learned "go camping." Can you imagine sleeping in a tent under the stars? Listening to the sounds of nature all around you? My parents took me camping once and I had an absolute blast! We went hiking, cooked yummy food over the fire, and even saw a family of deer! I really want to go camping again soon. After that, we moved on to "do aerobics." This one was kind of funny because we all had to get up and follow along with Ms. Wang doing some aerobic exercises. We were jumping, stretching, and even dancing a little bit. It was a great way to get some energy out during class! The next word was "play soccer," which is one of my favorite sports. There's nothing quite like running around kicking a ball with your friends, is there? Every weekend, my team has a game and I absolutely love it. I'm thinking of asking for a new soccer ball for my next birthday present. We also learned "read comics," which made me really happy. I'm a huge fan of comics and graphic novels! There's just something magical about those colorful pages filled withpictures and stories. My favorite comics are about superheroes saving the day. Maybe I'll write my own comic one day!Another fun word was "paint pictures." I've always enjoyed painting and getting creative with colors and brushes. My bedroom walls are covered with my latest masterpieces! Whenever I'm feeling artistic, I'll spend hours mixing paints and creating new scenes. Painting is such a relaxing hobby. Then there was "listen to music," which is something I pretty much do all the time. Music makes me happy, no matter if I'm studying, playing, or just hanging out. I have a big collection of songs on my phone from all different genres – pop, rock, classical, you name it!We wrapped up the unit with "dance." Don't you just love the feeling of moving your body to the rhythm of a beat? Whenever a good song comes on, I can't help but jump up and dance around like crazy! My moves may not be the best, but dancing makes me smile from ear to ear.Learning all those hobby words was awesome, but you know what the best part was? At the end of the unit, Ms. Wang said we could make posters showing our favorite activities. I went all out decorating mine with pictures, drawings, and descriptions of all the new words I had learned. On the day we presented our posters, I clearly rememberwatching each of my classmates share their hobbies. Zoe's poster was all about collecting stickers, Eric shared his love for playing video games, and even Stephen showed off his talent for juggling! It was so cool seeing how unique and interesting everyone's hobbies were.As I looked around at all the colorful posters, I felt so grateful to have learned those new vocabulary words. They opened my eyes to so many fun activities I can't wait to try. Who knows, maybe I'll take up juggling myself one day! But for now, I'm going to put on some tunes, pick up my paintbrush, and dance like nobody's watching. This hobby adventure is just getting started!篇4My English Vocab Adventure: Exploring Unit 4 Words!Hey there, fellow fourth-graders! Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey through the world of English vocabulary? Brace yourselves because we're about to dive into the captivating realm of Unit 4 in our English textbook. Get your pens and notebooks ready, and let's get started!First things first, let's talk about the word "energy." Have you ever felt like you just can't sit still, and you're bursting with this incredible force that makes you want to run, jump, and play? That's what energy is all about! It's the power that keeps us going, whether we're playing sports, dancing, or even just running around the playground.Speaking of sports, do you know what a "competition" is? It's when people or teams try their best to win against each other in a game or contest. Imagine a race where everyone is running as fast as they can to cross the finish line first. That's a competition, and it's super exciting to watch or participate in!Now, let's talk about "safety." Safety is all about being careful and taking precautions to avoid getting hurt. It's like wearing a helmet when you're riding your bike or holding an adult's hand when you're crossing the street. Safety is super important because it helps keep us healthy and happy.Do you know what "recycle" means? It's the process of turning old, used materials into new things. For example, you can recycle plastic bottles and turn them into playground equipment or even new bottles! Recycling is awesome because it helps protect our planet and reduces waste.Moving on, let's talk about "technology." Technology is all the cool gadgets and machines that make our lives easier and more fun. Computers, smartphones, and video games are all examples of technology. Isn't it amazing how we can use these devices to learn, play, and even talk to people on the other side of the world? Now, let's explore the word "progress." Progress means moving forward or making improvements. When you practice your spelling or math skills every day, you're making progress and getting better at them. Progress is important because it helps us grow and learn new things.Next up, we have the word "quality." Quality refers to how good or excellent something is. For example, a high-quality toy is one that's well-made, durable, and fun to play with. We all want to have quality things in our lives because they make us happy and last longer.Let's talk about "environment" next. The environment is the world around us, including the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the plants and animals that live on our planet. Taking care of our environment is crucial because it's our home, and we want to keep it clean and healthy for generations to come.Moving on, we have the word "resource." A resource is something that we use or need, like water, food, or even knowledge. Resources are important because they help us survive and thrive. We should always try to use our resources wisely and not waste them. Finally, let's discuss the word "challenge." A challenge is something that's difficult or hard to do, but it's also an opportunity to learn and grow. For example, learning to ride a bike or mastering a new math concept can be challenging, but when you overcome those challenges, you feel proud and accomplished.Phew, that was quite a journey through Unit 4's vocabulary, wasn't it? I hope you had as much fun exploring these words as I did. Remember, learning new words is like unlocking secret doors to a whole new world of understanding and communication. Keep practicing, keep exploring, and keep having fun with English!篇5Hi everyone! Today I want to talk to you about the new vocabulary words we learned in Unit 4 of our English textbook. There are a lot of cool new words that I've been practicing. Let me tell you about some of them!First up is the word "camel". A camel is this really big animal with a humpy back that lives in deserts. They can go for a long time without water because they store it in their humps. I saw camels at the zoo last year and they looked so funny walking around. The zookeeper said they spit at people sometimes, yuck!Another animal word from the unit is "koala". Koalas are these super cute, fuzzy creatures that live in Australia. They sleep in trees and only eat eucalyptus leaves. I have a stuffed koala toy that I got for my birthday. I named him Koa. He's my favorite stuffed animal. Then we learned the word "hip". Your hips are the side parts of your body above your legs. When people dance, they sometimes shake their hips from side to side. My dad is a really silly hip shaker when he dances! It makes me laugh so hard."Tap" is a cool word because it has a few different meanings. It can mean the faucet you tap to get water from. Or it means making a gentle knocking sound, like tapping your pencil on the desk. There's also tap dancing where people tap their feet to make rhythms and dance moves. The word "seal" means those animals that swim in the ocean and make barking sounds. But it can also mean closing something up tight, like sealing a box with tape so nothing can get in or out. My mom always seals up the cookie boxes so my little brother can't sneak any before dinner!"Frost" is what forms on the ground when it's really cold outside. You wake up and everything is covered in a thin, icy layer of frost. I love looking at the patterns the frost makes on our windows. They're like little frosty drawings! But be careful, because the frost makes sidewalks very slippery.Oooh, one of my favorites from this unit is "mitten". Mittens are those cozy gloves that cover your whole hand to keep it warm in the winter. I have red mittens with llamas on them that I wear when I go sledding. Last year, I accidentally threw one of my mittens onto the school roof when I was making a snowball. Whoops!Let's see...what else? "Crust" is a good one. It's the outer, hard layer on things like bread, pie, or the earth's surface. My brother always eats the crust off his sandwiches first. I like the crust because that's the best part in my opinion! The word "thread" is the tiny string or yarn that clothes and fabrics are made of. You can also thread a needle to do sewing.Last month in art class we made these cool woven potholders out of colorful threads. I gave mine to my grandma as a gift.I can't forget the word "comb"! That's the thing you use to untangle your hair and make it look neat. My hair gets so knotted in the mornings, I have to use a comb to get all the snarls out before I go to school. As my dad says, "A comb is a girl's best friend!"Another hairstyle word is "braid". A braid is a section of hair that's woven into a twisting pattern. Some people like to braid their long hair, or put little braids along the sides. My mom is really good at braiding hair. She taught me how to braid piece by piece until I got it right. There are so many other fun words like "ax", "tusk", "ridge", "weave", "cozy" and more that we covered. I'm really starting to expand my English vocabulary. Maybe I'll be a famous writer someday using all the new words I know!Anyway, those are some of the highlights from the Unit 4 vocab list. English is getting easier and easier as I practice using all these descriptive new words. I enjoy putting them into stories and conversations as much as I can. Who knows what cool words are coming up next!篇6Unit 4 Vocabulary FunHi friends! It's me again, your pal who loves learning new English words. Today I want to tell you all about the awesome vocabulary we learned in Unit 4 of our English textbook. Get ready for some serious word power! The unit was called "My Hobby" and it was all about the different hobbies and interests we can have. The first word we learned was "hobby" itself. A hobby is an activity that you do for fun and enjoyment in your free time. My biggest hobby is definitely reading books - I'm kind of a bookworm! We also learned the word "interest" which is a bit like a hobby, but it's something you're just really interested in or curious about, even if you don't actively do it all the time. One of my biggest interests is learning about dinosaurs. I can spend hours reading about them! Then we had some vocabulary for specific hobbies. Let me see if I can remember them all... There was "draw" for the hobby of drawing pictures. "Paint" was for painting on canvases. "Dance" is moving your body to music in rhythmic ways. Oh, and "sing" for using your voice to make musical sounds. For outdoor hobbies, we learned "hike" for long walks in nature, "fish" for trying to catch fish, "swim" for moving through water, and "camp" for spending one or more nights outdoors. I really want to go camping sometime! We also covered some hobbies related to games and sports. There was "play soccer," "play basketball," and "play video games." I'm personally not that into sports, but I do enjoy some video games from time to time. We learned "collect" for the hobby of gathering objects you're interested in. Some people collect stamps, coins, rocks, or other things.A few more words about interests rather than true hobbies: "Read" for looking at words on pages, "watch TV" for viewing shows on a television, and "surf the Internet" for exploring websites online. I spend plenty of my free time doing all three of those! The Internet is just endlessly fascinating to me.Okay, that covers a lot of the vocabulary we focused on, but there were some other good ones too. We learned "join" for becoming a member of a club about your hobby or interest. And "fan" for someone who loves a certain hobby or entertainer. Like, I'm a huge fan of reading fantasy novels!Let's see, what else... Oh yeah, the verb "practice" for doing an activity repeatedly to improve at it. You have to practice a lotto get good at a hobby like dancing or playing an instrument. Speaking of instruments, we learned some examples like "guitar," "piano," "violin," and "drums."We also talked about having "skill" at something, which means you're talented and capable at that activity. I have pretty good skills at reading quickly and remembering what I read. We also covered different levels of skill like "beginner," "intermediate," and "advanced." I'm still just a beginner at swimming, for instance.Towards the end of the unit, we learned some time expressions for how often we do our hobbies. Like "once a week," "twice a month," "every day," "on weekends," and "in my free time." I read fantasy novels pretty much every day because I love them so much! The last few words I'll mention are adjectives to describe our feelings about our hobbies. "Exciting," "relaxing," "fun," "boring," "difficult," and "easy." For me, reading is extremely relaxing and fun, while some video games are exciting but also quite difficult!Whew, I think that's just about all the key vocabulary we covered in this unit on hobbies and interests. I really enjoyed learning all those words because the topic is something I candefinitely relate to. We all need diversions from school and chores, right?I hope reviewing this vocabulary was useful for you and that it gives you some ideas for hobbies you might want to try yourself. Maybe you'll find a new passion or interest! Just get out there and explore different activities. Who knows what you might end up getting hooked on?All right, that's all from me for now. Let me know if you have any other questions about these hobby words or English vocabulary in general. I'll do my best to share what I know. Until next time, happy hobbying!。

We were all very excited because we hadn't been to the zoo in years. The weather was perfect, sunny and warm, making it a great day for a visit to the zoo.As soon as we arrived, we started exploring the different areas of the zoo. We saw all sorts of animals, from elephants and giraffes to monkeys and zebras. The highlight of the trip was definitely seeing the lions and tigers up close. They were somajestic and powerful, and watching them roam around their enclosures was truly awe-inspiring.We also checked out the bird aviary, where we saw colorful parrots and exotic peacocks. The kids loved watching the penguins splash around in their pool, and we even got to feed some of the animals, like the goats and llamas in the petting zoo. After exploring the zoo for a few hours, we took a break and had a picnic lunch on the grass. We enjoyed sandwiches, fruit, and snacks while soaking up the sun and chatting about our favorite animals we had seen so far.In the afternoon, we attended a few animal shows, including a sea lion performance and a bird of prey demonstration. The trainers were so skilled, and it was amazing to see the animals perform tricks and showcase their natural abilities. As the day came to an end, we stopped by the gift shop to pick up some souvenirs. The kids each chose a stuffed animal to take home, and I bought a picture book about the zoo to remember our fantastic day.Overall, our trip to the zoo was a memorable experience that we will cherish for years to come. It was a great opportunity to bond as a family, learn about different animals, and enjoy thebeauty of nature. I can't wait to visit the zoo again and see what new adventures await us there.。

人教版四年级下册英语第四单元
人教版四年级下册英语第四单元一、重点单词。
1. tomato(西红柿)- 这个单词可有趣啦。
我们可以说“My favorite food is potatoes.”(我最喜欢的食物是土豆。
)3. green beans(豆角)- 这是个复数形式的单词。
豆角长长的,像小辫子一样。
我们可以说“Green beans are very healthy.”(豆角很健康。
)4. carrot(胡萝卜)- 小兔子最喜欢的食物就是胡萝卜啦。
“Carrots are orange and long.”(胡萝卜是橙色的,长长的。
指着远处黑板旁边的蔬菜问“What are those?”3. “They are...”(它们是……)- 这是用来回答上面两个问句的。
