Installation Instruction

Main features:

The forged manifold with brass ball valve is a device of water heating, composed of

water supply/return pipe, manifold regulator, manual vent valve, plug and holder. Outlet of

the manifold regulator is changeable union with three norms of 14, 16 and20. Thus

customers can choose in terms of the specific situation, only with a note when ordering.

Installation can be followed as the Installation Instruction.

The principle of Manifold

Manifold is a device of separating and collecting water that links water-supply/return pipeline

in the system of water heating. Water knockout manifold and water collecting manifold are named

due to the different function of the device itself. In general, these two kinds are called Manifold.

This device has been widely used in the system of water heating, water conditioner, and tap

water, whose material is brass.

It mainly plays the role of opening/ closing water flow in water heating system. Before water in

the main pipe flows into the gas-fired boiler or the branch manifold, impurities should be filtered

and then water can be divided equally into water heating loop. Eventually, water comes back to

the manifold by heat exchange of the loop and flows into the heating system through the outlet.

Hot water flows into the manifold pipe from the water-supply pipe, passing the heat-supply

pipe network in the room through the floor-heating pipe, and converges in the main pipe of

manifold. Then water comes to the heating source through return pipe. In the method of recycling,

we can get the goal of heating.

Installation Instruction

1. Place the crash pad on the fixed holder correctly in installation, then put the water-separation

manifold(red) above and water-collection manifold(blue) below. The floor-heating pipe from the

water-separation manifold pipe should be mixed behind the water-collection manifold, otherwise

it’ll affect the headstock of the ball valve handle.

2. For the convenience of passing through the pipe, the side of high holder is below and combines

to water-collection pipe(blue) with M6 screw; and above is the lower one, which also combines to

water-separation pipe(red) in the same way.

3. When installation is finished, the device should be tested by professional.

4. Emission of the air in pipe: connect a hose to the outlet of manual vent valve, supply water to

the pipe and unscrew the manual vent valve. When water is come out from the vent valve, remain

for 1 minute and turn off the vent valve.

5.When testing, make sure there is no leakage in every joint.
