专八翻译第一章考题基本规律所有考题均围绕人文话题，从未出现科学技术方面的考题。
·英译汉要求高于汉译英要求，前者只要“达意”，后者则还要“传神”。
·首选顺译，不会出大错。
·英译汉，直译为主；汉译英，意译为主；时间紧迫，可以“译述”。
·用两种文化去思维，比如在英翻中时不能随意套用汉语成语。
·其他注意事项：1，不要遗漏或曲解原文信息。
2，词汇、句式恰当而多变。
3，与原文风格一致。
4，翻译头几句要格外用心，提高印象分。

而是在准确理解了英语原文的基础上，在忠实于英语原文的基础上，译者所遣之词所造之句，读起来回味无穷，有力度之美；或者朗朗上口，有音韵之美。

词义选择和词义引申词义的选择和词义引申是考研翻译中最常用的翻译技巧。
其本身也是英语翻译中最基础的工作，准确把握词义，并在必要时加以适度的引申，是保证译文质量的前提和基础。
一方面，英语和汉语各自都有丰富的词汇，各自的词义又极其繁复；另一方面，这两种语言差异巨大，其词义关系错综复杂，往往难以找到词义完全对应的词。
如run堪称为典型的多义词。
在较大规模的词典里，其释义可达上百个之多。
譬如，《英汉大词典》在run条下一共提供了117个义项，包括不及物动词性34个，及物动词性40个，名词性38个，形容词性5个。
显然，其中许多义项，即使是那些属于动词性的，都不能用汉语的“跑”来对译。
