Global Economic Integration has become the inevitable trend of the world’s development not only on the deepness and extent, but also on the speed. Nowadays, financial crisis is still a great threat to the global economic growth, and every country focused on how to get through it and accelerate the speed of development. As a developing country, India has played an appropriate role in fostering the integration of global economic. For example, India has carried out the Policy for Foreign Direct Investment and has built up strong electronics industry to boost exports. Besides, India has taken part in BRICS talks and many other talks to strengthen regional economic cooperation.
Yet problems like poverty and the inadequacy of infrastructure obstructed the sustainable development of Indian economy. Besides, trade protectionism from other countries delayed development of India economy as well as the process of global economy integration. Despite of the difficulties and setbacks, India is renowned for electronic industry all over the world. Meanwhile, abundant Mineral is one of our advantages in developing national economy. India will try our best to do everything to improve the national economy and accelerate the global economical development. Facing with the current situation and circumstances, India strongly supports to foster the economy integration by strengthening the international cooperation.
Firstly, according to the 12th Five-Years Plan of India, India will perfect infrastructure construction by employing the poor. It will not only improve the environment of investment, but also will create new jobs for the poor. It’s worthwhile for developing countries to learn, with the help from developed countries and social forces worldwide.
Secondly, we advocate increasing technical cooperation among countries to discover new sources of non-fossil fuels, which can contribute to adjusting the energy structure, investigating the new energy, improving the resource utilization rate and reducing the environment pollution. Besides, we should step up worldwide energy dialogue and cooperation, jointly maintain energy security and energy market stability, and efficiently supervise the energy market. It is of great importance to global economy.
Thirdly, India regards that personnel labor export can not only improve the employment rate, but balance the global human resource.
Lastly, India advocates forming a financial supervision department in BRICS to guarantee the money stability of the market and impel the continuous health growth of economic and it is also good for India to establish good relationship with business partners.
In conclusion, India expects a close cooperation with other countries and we can get through the financial crisis together to foster the integration of global economy.
