About the title

<<infernal affairs>is from the Buddhist sutras（佛 经）,it means the infernal hell,and it is the most painful hell,if people are in this hell ,he will be punished forever and can not escape from it .This film is about two people’s fates and the fate malposition(错位）,it makes the two main roles feels like be in the infernal affair,they want to make change and chase for their real life,but finally they fail.

One night in2002, according to ChenYongren’information., a number of drugs are trated ,and one of the trading people is Hanchen, because at that time, Liu Jianming in time take message to the Han Chen,so he escapes,but both sides realise that there is undercover.

In 1991 ，18-year-old criminal syndicate(黑社 会）member Liu Jianming (Andy Lau 刘 德华) listens to the Han Chen’s (Eric Tsang 曾 志伟) instructions and go to the police academy, become the police undercover.
