Basic Information
The Tujia , with a total population of over 8 million, is the 6th largest ethnic minority in China. They live in Hunan, Hubei and Guizhou Provinces, and Chongqing Municipality. Today there are at most 70,000 speakers of the Tujia language.The vast majority of the Tujia use Chinese.
