从2003年开始出现山寨手机到各种山寨产品，“山寨”一词从经济行为逐渐演变为一种社会文化现象。如今“山寨相机”、“山寨电影”、“山寨明星”甚至“山寨版的春晚”等诸多带有模仿性质的“山寨现象”层出不穷，形成了独有的“山寨文化”。
