Nearly every individual idealizes someone solemnly in his or her mind and makes them out to be the most special people in the world. While we show utmost respect to them for some overwhelmingly strong reasons, many of us, meanwhile, forget the underlying fact that they are just normal people like us and they merely have extraordinary careers which make them to be alleged celebrities.
In most cases, once we make up our mind to adore a celebrity, it is human nature to follow them around, make effects to know more about them and even imitate them in our daily lives. For one thing, this is quite reasonable, because we’d like to figure out what on earth make them outstanding in their arenas. However, in the modern world , it seems that almost all the celebrities are followed everywhere and could not get a moment’s peace due to public’s flaming interest on their private lives. As we enjoy ourselves scanning the celebrities’ private lives, we actually appreciate the joy on the basis for our idols’ agony and a great violation to human rights.
So far as I’m concerned, we need to compromise on this conflict between celebrities’natural rights to live a normal life and ordinary people’s constant focus on them. We need to find some balance or limitation to cater for both sides’ command.
On the one hand, we must concede that everyone in the world, including the so-called idols, deserves the opportunity to live a normal life. Their grand career never mean that they should basically be punished by taking a normal private life away from them. Contrary to public opinions, celebrities’ life don’t belong to the public, they belong to the individuals who have both blessing and curse of being famous. Much harm has comes from paparazzi’s continual hounding of the famous. Take the tragedy of Princess Diana, this category of lessons result in repeated warning about the challenge to our humanity brought by the paparazzi and tabloid magazines.
On the other hand, we can still keep an eye on the celebrity. Sometimes, our idols are very generous and are willing to share their experience to inspire or enlighten latter generations, which provides us the precious chance to grasp more details about them and ,in turn , make progress of our own.
