【学习目标】
1.学会听、说、读下列词汇:need,rice,meat,fruit,vegetables,need,here,cool。

2.学会使用:问句“What do you need?”与答句“I need…”来进行交际。

【学习过程】
一、新知学习。

1.课文预习。

阅读课文,将自己不认识的单词写下来。

Activities
1.Getting ready. Ask individual Ss to read the words on the page aloud for the class.
Using the book. T: now listen to the tape. Play the tape for A, and then pause. T: the guitar… ( wait for Ss to answer.) Ss: expensive. T: see the circle around the correct answer? Now listen and circle the answers. Continue with the rest of the questions.
2.Getting ready. Point to the pictures at random. Ask a question that corresponds with the picture. T: ( point to the toy panda.) how much is the toy panda? Ss: it’s 45 yua n. T: ( point to the glue) what do we need? Ss: we need some glue.
Using the book. Have Ss look at the pictures. T: let’s listen to the tape. Play the tape for A, and then pause. T: how much are the shoes? Ss: they’re 56 yuan. T: put a checkmark in the box for the correct picture. Repeat the procedures with the other five questions.
3.Getting ready. Ask individual Ss to read the words out loud.
Using the book. Point to the word toys. T: /tʃ /, /tʃ /. chicken. Let’s play the tape and find the sound / tʃ /. play the tape. T: see the circles around

二、Teaching procedure:
Activity
1.Getting ready. Put picture cards of paper, pencils, glue, rice, meat, tofu on the board, picture-side up. Ask individual Ss to write the correct word underneath each picture, and then have the whole class say the word.
Using the book. Have Ss look at the pictures and the paragraphs on the page. Read the paragraph in part A slowly and clearly. Ask individual Ss to read the questions out aloud. Give Ss time to write the answers on
the page. Do the same for part B. walk around the classroom to check how Ss are doing. Find some Ss who are wrting the correct answers. Ask those Ss to come to the board. Have them write the answers on the board so that other Ss can check their work.
Reading and writing
1.Getting ready. Have Ss read the dialog. T: what’s Tony doing?
Ss:
he’s calling his classmate. Play the tape and ask S1 to read the questions on page 78. Ask S1 to choose Ss to answer the questions. The rest of the class check the answers.
Using the book. T: let’s look at the pictures on page 79. T: what’s
in the picture with the check? Ss: Juice. Have Ss work in pairs to fill in the blanks. Check the answer by asking Ss to read out their answers.
Task: make a greeting card.
Before class, prepare enough bags for groups of four or five. In each bag, put in different quantities of one or two kinds of stationery items. Make sure that there are enough quantities of each item so that groups can exchange with one another. During class, tell Ss that they are going to make a greeting card. Ask them to form groups of four or five. Each group takes a bag. Ss need to open the bag and write down on a piece of paper. After that, they talk to other groups to find the things they need. Give Ss time to make the cards. Finally, display all the cards on the
board.
Optional: T can ask the class to vote for the best card.

I. Warm-up (热身活动)
1. Greet each other.
2. Sing a song: I worked in an office.
3. A guessing game: Look and guess what it is. (About food)
4. (Review the past tense words) Look and read quickly:

II. Presentation (介绍新语言项目)
1.教师提问: “What’s your favorite food?” 鼓励学生说出自己最喜爱的食物,教师把相应的单词写在黑板上,并带领学生朗读这些单词。

2.教师提问:“What did you have for breakfast/lunch/dinner?”让学生尝试根本实际情况来回答,并由此引导出本课的新单词:sausage, sandwich, delicious.
3.通过黑板上总结出的单词,鼓励学生说一说哪些是中国传统食物,哪些是英国传统食物。

III. New-teaching(课文教学)
1.教师提问:“Do you like computer? Can you use computer to send a letter?” Study the word “email”, read and spell it.
2.教师提问:“Yesterday I’ve got an email. It’s from Lingling.She’s not in China, she’s in England. Can you guess what talked?”
3.教师播放录音,提问:“What did she have for breakfast/lunch/dinner?”请学生带着问题认真听Daming 和Fanfan之间的对话。

请学生指看课文,并试着从课文中找到答案。

4. 请学生从课文中找到“had”, 提醒学生过去时态用于表示发生在过去的事情,并把“have- had”写在黑板上,指导学生练读。

IV. Practice (练习)
1. 同桌一组进行问答练习,完成学生用书活动3。

教师在教室内巡回走动,给予适当的帮助与指导。

2. 学生理解和掌握了生词和词组后,教师提问:“What kind of traditional English food did Lingling have? Is it delicious?”
3. 播放录音,请学生跟读课文,引导学生回答问题,以进一步理解课文的意思。

4. 请学生分角色朗读课文,表演对话。

V. Production (任务完成)
1. 将学生分成四人一组,由学习组长带领小组成员设计一份既营养又健康的饮食表。

完成后进行汇报。

2. 做课堂活动用书练习1“Read and circle”。

首先为学生讲解题目要求,请学生阅
读问题,并让学生课文的内容,选择正确的图片,最后全班订正。

3. 做课堂活动用书练习3。

学生进行小组学习,互相提问,将小组四人的调查结果填入表格内。

Vi. Summary and Homework (小结与作业)
1.全班完成:听录音,复习本单元内容,预习下一个单元内容。

2.个别完成:归纳中英传统食物的不同之处,并熟读这些表示食物的单词。
