play a period of flash about exclamatory sentence.

step 2. language focus(1)

1. get students to go through the first part contents of grammar and answer some questions.

2.ask students to read the example sentences to find out the rules of the four types of sentences.

1) declarative sentence

he likes surfing the internet. she cannot play computer games. they hardly know anything about it.

2) interrogative sentence

a.一般疑问句

does he like surfing the internet? ---yes, he does.

---can’t she play the computer games? ---no, she can’t.

b. 特殊疑问句

疑问词有 who, whose, what, which, where, when, why, how, etc. who likes surfing the internet?where did he play computer games?

c. 选择疑问句

does he like playing computer games or chatting on-line?

which do you prefer, playing computer or chatting on-line?

d. 反意疑问句

he likes surfing the car, __________?she can’t play computer games, ________? let’s go to surf the internet, _________? there are many computer games, _________ ?

3) imperative sentence

a. 带第二人称的祈使句

be quiet, please. don’t make any noise! you c lean the blackboard.

b. 带第一、三人称的祈使句

let me try again. let him be here by 10 o’clock.

4) exclamatory sentence

a. caused by “how”

how beautiful the flower is! how fast the car travels! how clever a boy he is!

b. caused by “what”

what a nice car it is! what fine weather (it is)!

2. practice (pair work)

1) ask students to find out the types of the sentences given.

a. stand up, please.

b. shall we go there or wait here?

c. she can play computer games.
