Once upon a time, there was a crow. One day it was so hot and thirsty that it thought of a way to get a drink. It found a tall pitcher with a narrow neck and some water inside it. The crow tried to reach the water with its beak but it was too long. The smart crow had an idea. It picked up some pebbles and dropped them into the pitcher one by one. The water level rose and finally the crow could reach it.
The crow was very thirsty and it drank the water from the pitcher.
