ABSTRACT
Elevator is a vehicle closely related to people’s daily life, yet sometimes it incurs safety problems. Nowadays the society is demanding stricter safety requirements on elevator system. And new technologies are being developed and applied to elevator system. As a result, there are some new concerns with elevator’s safety: first, the conflicts between the new safety code and the large number of elevators in use; second, peoples’ increased dependence on elevator; third, new safety criteria and safety concepts for new technologies. Therefore, developing new methodology for elevator safety assessment is very important.
The research in this paper mainly includes four parts: Firstly, the safety assessment method for elevator system on basis of

risk theory is obtained, which contains the thoughts of many other kinds of safety assessment methods. The target of comprehensive safety assessment for elevator is reached after applying the method.
At the same time, the developing of expert system and database technology can support the intelligentize in safety assessment for elevator. Designing the expert system of safety assessment for elevator and establishing the repository for the system are achieved in this paper. The system can learn knowledge from experts, provide knowledge for users.
Combined with project of the eleventh five-year plan for research on safety technology of special equipments, a safety assessment method for elevator system on basis of risk theory is obtained in this paper after referencing many kinds of safety assessment methods. The method contains the thoughts of these methods, such as fault tree, fuzzy evaluation and safety checklist analysis. The target of comprehensive safety assessment for elevator is reached after applying the method.
Secondly, the database for elevator safety assessment is established. The database is made up of parameter database, safety requirement database, danger and risk database and protective measure database.

摘要
本文主要的研究工作包括以下几个方面: 1)研究适用于电梯的基于风险原理的安全评价方法,并融合其它相 关安全评价方法的思想,以实现电梯安全状况的综合评价; 2)建立电梯安全评价数据库包括电梯系统参数、安全要求、危险源 和风险情节、风险降低措施等数据库; 3)设计和建造用于电梯安全评价的专家系统,该系统能够学习电梯 安全评价知识,应用电梯安全评价数据库,进行安全评价过程中的推理, 完成电梯安全评价的整个过程; 4)编制实现电梯安全评价专家系统的软件,完成电梯安全评价过程 中的各种功能,并在电梯行业十余家企业中进行了成功应用。 实际应用证明本文提出的方法是一种适合于电梯的简单、方便、经 济、有效的安全评价方法。该方法的推广应用将有可观的经济和社会效 益,有助于我国电梯安全技术水平的提高,也为政府管理和决策部门提 供技术支持。
