The blind sideI have to say that The Blind Side is really a good movie. Even I have seen many movies; I was still moved by this one. Not everyone can be the same as the heroine Lee Anne; you may like to help the poor people by giving them money, but can you really accept to adopt a black boy or girl as a member of your family? Can you be proud to say that the black boy is your son? I believe not, but Lee Anne did all these. Due to her unselfish love and care, Big Mike grows up into a real man.Mike is not an idiot; he just didn’t have the right to study in school before he met the Shawn family. It’s a widespread bias which exist in American society that black people are always stupid, poor and rude. That’s really ridiculous! It is true that Mike Oher has an unfortunate childhood, living in an environment of lonely and inferiority; but he is also lucky to have a new mama—Lee Anne and a whole new family. When I was watching this movie, I was almost going to cry in many times. And I’m really happy for Mike, I’m happy that he finally became a good son. But other black boys didn’t as lucky as Mike, they degenerated, some became thieves, some became bullies and so on. ButI don’t think it’s their fault or it can’t only be their fault, the society should be most responsible for the result. Human beings are equal and it does not relate to our complexion. The Blind Side teaches us a lesson that whatever you do you should be confident; no matter how desperate you are, you have your beloved family with you, and they will always be your strong support.。

This is a can’t-miss family movie. After all, EVERYONE seems to like inspiring family films--especially when it’s based on real people. And, not surprisingly, I had a thoroughly good time watching it--though I do recommend you see it with a box of Kleenex nearby. The film is about a young man named Michael Oher--an extremely large black teenager who has bounced from home to home in the foster care system. Currently, he’s in a new school and no one realizes that he has no place to live. Yet in spite of having a crack-addicted mother, a father who was killed in prison and every other reason to be an angry powder keg, he’s avery gentle and sad soul---who is also enormous and has amazing potential to play football.A nosy but very nice lady (Sandra Bullock) convinces her husband (Tim McGraw) to bring Michael home...at least for the night. But this one night turns into a permanent living situation and he becomes an important part of the family. However, despite this new living arrangement working out well, Michael is so far behind in school and his GPA so low that he hasn’t a prayer to play football in college. That’s because although many schools are now offering him athletic scholarships, his GPA is too low to allow him to accept these offers. So, with his new family’s help, perhaps he can pull up those grades and have a future. This film is super-inspirational and sweet--mostly because it’s true. I am sure that some poetic license was taken when making the film (I especially wonder if the little brother could be THIS precocious and adorable), but overall they did a good job of sticking reasonably close the facts. While I loved Sandra Bullock’s performance (she’s great as usual), I was a bit surprised that she received Oscar for it--I did see a few performances in other films that year that I thought were a bit better (such as the leading young lady in “Precious”). Also, TimMcGraw, while a lesser role in the film, did a surprisingly good job--especially as he’s really known as a country singer, not an actor. All around, a very good film and one that is meant to inspire. Yesterday saw (weaknesses), in fact earlier before I went to see it, but the thunderbolt examined next, see evaluation say subtitle translator is very bad we haven’t seen. Yesterday finally finished watching the movie, also didn’t think translation have what problem, it seems that comment is not credible. The truth is very moving, although the witcher nothing big fluctuations, but is such a movie to real, to touching. In Sandra took Oscar later did I know her name, then in thunderbolt recommend that saw written oscar-winning film, starring Sandra, I click go to see it, but behold got oolong, Adam. Thornton le mistaken as Sandra. Brock, but the film also is very good-looking, there are also about football, with the name, the last of the yard. Seeing so many foreign movies, weakness was the first to let me see will want to cry. In the streets, evening see mike in laundry overnight, and when brock let her brought home the scene really is very moving. Remember early days David asked my favorite thing to do what it is and I was not think out, now I can tell him, I likewatching movies. Watching movies can make us feel different life, not the same person, different life. In the reality doesn’t happen or appear thing also perhaps people can we by movie to satisfy - it’s a movie can bring a person. Watching The Blind Side, you could be forgiven for thinking you’d fallen into an alternative universe where the Republicans are still in charge in America. Sandra Bullock plays Leigh Anne Touhy, a larger than life Momzilla, and blonde sub-species of the genus Sarah palinus. She’s almost as funny as Tina Fey doing her dead on impression of the former Governor of Alaska, with lines like “I’m in a prayer group with the D.A., I’m a member of the N RA and I’m always packing,” delivered absolutely straight. Until you realise we’re meant to be rooting for her. Leigh Anne is an interior decorator with a penchant for sentimental gold tat and a heart to match. When she sees that a po’black kid at her children’s school is effectively homeless, she takes him in and in her no-nonsense fashion shapes him into a professional-calibre American football player. This is a true story - the real Michael Oher currently plays for the Baltimore Rav ens, having been legally adopted by the Touhys (don’t expect to hear much from Leigh Anne’s hubby, by the way, he’sthe strong silent type) at high-school age.。

200After watching the movie "Weakness," I was left with a myriad of emotions and thoughts swirling inside me. It was an intimate and thought-provoking film that delved deep into the vulnerabilities and flaws we all possess as human beings. The story was beautifully told through powerful performances, stunning cinematography, and a compelling narrative that captivated my attention from start to finish. The movie revolves around the lives of three main characters: Sarah, Michael, and David. Each of them is dealing with their own set of weaknesses and insecurities, which are further magnified by the circumstances they find themselves in. Sarah, played by the talented actress Jennifer Lawrence, portrays a young woman struggling with low self-esteem and a fear of failure. Michael, portrayed by the equally talented actor James McAvoy, embodies the character of a man haunted by his past mistakes and unable to move forward. Lastly, David, played by the brilliant actor Tom Hardy, represents the complexity of human emotions and the battle between logic and intuition. One of the aspects of the film that struck me the most was its portrayal of vulnerability. Instead of glorifying strength and invincibility, "Weakness" emphasizes the fragility and imperfection of the human condition. It reminds us that, despite our efforts to shield ourselves from pain and disappointment, we are all susceptible to weakness. Sarah, Michael, and David are flawed characters who undergo tremendous personal growth throughout the movie as they confront their weaknesses head-on.The cinematography in "Weakness" is nothing short of breathtaking. Every scene is meticulously crafted, with each frame telling its own story. The use of lighting and colors creates a mood that underscores the emotional journey of the characters. The director's choice to focus on small details and close-ups adds an intimate and personal touch to the film, allowing the audience to connect with the characters on a deeper level. The performances given by the cast were phenomenal, further enhancing the impact of the movie. Jennifer Lawrence delivers a raw and honest portrayal of Sarah, making her vulnerabilities and insecurities feel incredibly relatable. James McAvoy brings a nuanced performance to Michael, effectively conveying the internal struggle and torment of his character. Tom Hardy, as David, showcases his incredible range as an actor, balancing the rationality and vulnerability of his role with finesse. The narrative structure of "Weakness" is both intriguing and satisfying. The story unfolds in a non-linear fashion, with flashbacks and intertwining storylines adding depth and complexity to the plot. The pacing is deliberate and allows the audience to fully immerse themselves in the emotional depth of the characters' experiences. Each scene serves a purpose, contributing to the overall themes of the movie and reinforcing the idea that vulnerability is an inherent part of the human experience.Furthermore, "Weakness" explores the concept of empathy and its transformative power. Through the characters' interactions and individual journeys, the film emphasizes the importance of understanding and compassion. It encourages the audience to reflect on their own weaknessesand to approach others with empathy, recognizing that everyone is battling their own internal struggles. In conclusion, "Weakness" is a poignant and thought-provoking film that explores the vulnerabilities and flaws we all possess as human beings. Through its powerful performances, stunning cinematography, and compelling narrative, it succeeds in portraying the complexity of the human condition. The movie serves as a reminder that weakness does not make us inherently flawed but rather presents an opportunity for growth and self-discovery. It urges us to embrace our vulnerabilities and approach others with empathy, fostering understanding and connection in a world that often values strength over vulnerability.。

The Review of The Blind SideI. IntroductionThe Blind Side is an American semi-biographical drama comedy that is based on a true story. It grossed a strong box office in the opening weekend and it has earned numerous awards and nominations. What’s more important is that it received generally positive reviews from critics. I lost myself fully in it the first time I saw it and when we were assigned to write a review of a movie, I chose it without any hesitation.II. About the movie1. The AbstractThe Blind Side tells the true story of Michael Oher, a big black, dim-witted, homeless teenager who gradually turns his life around after he's wel comed into the home of the Sean family, and then the bulk of the movie subsequently follows Michael's upward trajectory from a rookie to one of the most highly coveted prospects in college football.2. The ActingThe acting of the most actors, in my view, is quite satisfying. The most outstanding is Sandra Bullock who acts as Leigh Anne. She is very good at this juicy role - the right mix of tough love and occasional vulnerability. Her wonderful performance won her the Acad emy Award as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and she really deserves it. Aaron, meanwhile, has the physique to play Michael and his acting is solid enough for him to be able to pull off the role of the gentl e giant, but he spends a fair amount of time in Bullock's shadow. Tim McGraw is likeable as the supportive husband who's along for the ride; Lily Collins shows spunk as the little sister who defies peer pressure to embrace her new brother; and Jae Head who plays S.J. provides most of the comedic relief(The part that he helps Michael workout is quite funny.). The movie also features appearances by several current and former coaches, which makesthem act more naturally.III. The Themes1. Everyone has his “blind sid e”, and we all need a “left tackl e”.“T he blind side” is a jargon used in American football. The highest paid player on a National Football League team is the quarterback, and the second highest paid player is the left tackle. A left tackl e’s job is to protect the quarterback from what he can’t see coming, that is, to protect his blind sid e.In the movie, Michael is a left tackle in the football game while in real life he is more like a quarterback. His blind side is that he has no home and no one takes care of him. Fortunately, he finally met his left tackle —the Tuohy family, especially Leigh Anne Tuohy. She cannot bear to see Michael strolling in the cold night therefore she takes him home and gradually makes him a part of her family. As a white woman, Leigh Anne helps Michael not because of the color of his skin or his potential as an athlete - she does it because she sees another human being suffering and reaches out to him. Her instinctive love guid es her to do the right things. In other people’s eyes, it is always the fact that Leigh Anne helps Michael. However, Leigh Anne herself also benefits from Michael. When her friends say that she’s changing Michael’s life, she replied, “No. He’s changing mine.” Maybe to her, to give is more content than to receive. During the process of help, both the giver and receiver benefit from it.By comparison, I can’t help thinking about an incident happened in our country several months ago. On October 13, 2011, in Foshan Guangdong Province a two-year-old girl named Xiao Yueyue was knocked down by a car and none of the pedestrians who passed by her showed any concern. Finally a scrounger picked up and called the ambulance. But unfortunately, Xiao Yueyue’s life still wasn’t saved. This incident has aroused a heat debate among our whole nation. We should all reflect on ourselves deeply. When do we become so indifferent to life? How can we see a wound ed little girl lying on the road yet do not give a hand? It’s high time that we all learn from Leigh Anne.In fact, everyone has his blind side. When we are young and easy to be hurt, our parents and friends, school and the government are there to protect us. When we grow up and have the ability to protect others, we should become the left tackle. It’s like a virtuous circle. The world will become better and better only if the circle can go on and on.2. Family plays a crucial role in one’s success.Family is the place where we spend most of our time in our lifetime. It is especially important for chil dren to live in a happy family.Americans regard the family as a tight whole and share happiness together. In the film when the daughter Collins has a volleyball match, the son S.J. performs in the school play and when Michael plays football, the whole family will watch together and cheer for the member if they have time. It’s really important for parents to spend enough time staying together with their children. The company and encouragement from parents can help their children shape good personality and gain confidence. We can find easily in the film that the Sean family are both kindhearted. There’s an old saying”Like father, like son.”or “Like mother, like daughter.”There’s no denying that S.J. and Collins have learned a lot from their parents. Leigh Anne did everything she can for Mike; Mr. Sean und erstood and supported his wife’s decisions; S.J. talked to Michael first when he has no friends in school; Collins tried to accept Michael when other girls kept themselves away from him. What a warm and sweet family!Americans also attach much importance to the individual freed om especially to the chil dren. In the Seans, even the little S.J. can talk and do whatever he wants. Leigh Anne, maybe she seems to have absolute power to make decisions, but she still believes the individual freed om.By contrast, in recent years a large number of Chinese parents force their chil dren to go to various specialty training classes. They do n’t take their children’s interest into account, and they always defend for themselves that they just don’t want their chil dren to lag behind at the beginning of the fierce competition. In the end of the Blind Side, Leigh Anne said to Michael “I want you to do whatever you want. It’s your decision, Michael, it’s your life”. The movabl e plot may give some of our parents a lot to think. In the film, Anne is an ind ependent, sensible and benevolent mother and she knows how important a family is to a child, so she tries her best to make Michael feel the warmth of the family. She invited him to spend Thanksgiving Day with the family, bought clothes for him, has him in their Christmas card, read bed stories for him……These may be the common things yet they are just what children want most from their parents.By contrast, Michael’s parents didn’t do a good job as parents—his mother is crack-ad dicted and his father left him a week after he was born. They are not responsible for their children. Their son Michael is lucky for he has the Sean family protect his blind side, but what about other children in the similar situation? Can they be so fortunate?3. Life is full of miracles. You never know what is going to happen to you in the coming future. But one thing is for sure that God only help those who help themselves. Be yourself and let the “destiny” be your guide. Sometimes even though you are temporarily blind ed, you shoul d not be downhearted. For life is more wonderful there for you to expl ore. This is a very inspiring and touching movie. Man cannot change their parents and families they are born into, yet something out there may suddenly come into one’s life and everything will be changed. Some may call it destiny or God’s grace. I don’t know what would I d o and how would I respond to if I was Michael. However, I am certain that only an innocent heart can conquer all, no matter how bad the situation is.Trust your inmost innocent heart and follow its guide. The future is yours, all you need to do is walk that direction and everything will be all right. In fact, there are a lot more admonishments in the film. For example, try to find the good points of others. In the movie, Anne sees the innocence and the great protective instincts of Michael, Sean Tuohy once noticed Mike picking up the litters in the Gym after a game; one of Mike’s teachers observed Mike’s progress and persuade other teachers to have patience towards Mike. I cannot list them all here, but I will bear them in my mind and regard them as my guid e and instruction. On the whole, the Blind Side is a can’t-miss warm film. If you give it a chance, the payoff is monumental. I bet you won’t get chills from the beginning to the end. The film is generally enjoyable, but it isn’t until the credits roll that you’ll realize what a major sentimental impact it has on you. Do yourself a favor and it won’t l et you down.。

Here is an English essay on the topic "Reflection on the Movie Weaknesses (High School Version)," with a word count exceeding 1000 words. The movie "Weaknesses" is a powerful and thought-provoking film that delves into the complexities of human nature and the challenges we face in our lives. As a high school student, I found the movie to be a profound and impactful experience that has left a lasting impression on me.One of the most striking aspects of the film is the way it explores the concept of weakness. The movie's title itself suggests that weakness is a central theme, and throughout the narrative, we are confronted with the idea that our weaknesses are not something to be ashamed of, but rather something to be embraced and understood. The protagonist of the film, a young high school student struggling with various personal and academic challenges, serves as a relatable and compelling character. We witness their journey as they navigate the turbulent waters of adolescence, facing obstacles such as peer pressure, academic stress, and self-doubt. The way the film portraysthese challenges is both realistic and poignant, allowing the audience to empathize with the character's struggles. One of the most powerful aspects of the movie is the way it delves into the concept of vulnerability. The protagonist is forced to confront their own weaknesses and insecurities, and in doing so, they are able to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. The film's exploration of vulnerability is particularly relevant for high school students, who often feel the pressure to present a flawless image to their peers and the world.Another aspect of the film that resonated with me is its examination of the role of support systems in our lives. The protagonist's relationships with their family, friends, and teachers play a crucial role in their journey of self-discovery and growth. The movie highlights the importance of having a strong support network, and how the presence or absence of such a network can profoundly impact an individual's well-being and resilience. The film's visual storytelling is also worthy of praise. The cinematography and direction work in tandem to create a visually striking and emotionally resonant experience. The use of light and shadow, as well as the careful framing of shots, contribute to the overall mood and tone of the film, further enhancing the viewer's engagement with the narrative. One of the standout aspects of the movie is its nuanced and complex portrayal of the protagonist's struggles. The film does not offer simplistic solutions or easy answers, but rather, it presents a realistic and multifaceted depiction of the challenges faced by young people. This approach is particularly commendable, as it avoids the temptation to provide a neat and tidy resolution, instead allowing the audience to grapple with the complexities of the protagonist's journey.Furthermore, the film's exploration of the theme of weakness is not limited to the individual level. It also delves into the societal and cultural factors that contribute to our perceptions of weakness and the stigma associated with it. The movie's examination of these broader issues adds depth and complexity to the narrative, and encourages the audience to think critically about the ways in which we as a society view and respond to weakness.Overall, "Weaknesses" is a powerful and impactful film that has left a lasting impression on me as a high school student. Its exploration of the complexities of human nature, the challenges of adolescence, and the importance of vulnerability and support systems is both thought-provoking and emotionally resonant. The film's nuanced and complex portrayal of the protagonist's journey, coupled with itsvisually striking storytelling, make it a must-see for anyone interested in exploring the human experience.。

我们天生的Fullback(挡锋)其实就是我们自己的父母。

Title: Reflections on "Weakness" - A Journey of Self-Discovery and GrowthThe concept of weakness has always intrigued me, not just in the context of human frailty, but also as an essential aspect of personal growth. The journey of self-discovery and understanding our weaknesses can be a challenging yet rewarding experience. In this reflection, I aim to explore my thoughts and feelings after watching a video that delved deep into the theme of 'weakness'.From the very beginning, the video challenged the traditional notion of weakness. It posited that weakness is not solely about our limitations or inadequacies, but rather, it is a powerful tool for transformation and improvement. This idea was both thought-provoking and inspiring, urging me to reevaluate my own perception of weakness. The video emphasized the importance of acknowledging our weaknesses, rather than shying away from them. It argued that our vulnerabilities are what make us human, and they provide us with opportunities to learn and grow. This resonated deeply with me, as I have often found myself struggling to accept my own flaws and imperfections. One of the most profound aspects of the video was its discussion on how our weaknesses can be our strengths. It portrayed several examples where people turned their perceived weaknesses into sources of strength by working on them and transforming them. This message was empowering, as it highlighted the potential within each one of us to ovee our challenges and emerge stronger.Another striking point raised in the video was the role of vulnerability in building deeper connections with others. It showed how sharing our weaknesses can foster empathy, trust, and understanding among people. This made me realize that embracing our vulnerabilities can actually bring us closer to others, rather than pushing them away.Reflecting on these ideas, I realized that my fear of acknowledging my weaknesses had been holding me back from achieving my full potential. The video encouraged me to view my weaknesses as opportunities for growth, rather than as barriers to success. It inspired me to confront my fears, embrace my vulnerabilities, and work towards transforming my weaknesses into strengths. Moreover, the video reminded me of the power of empathy and understanding in our relationships with others. It urged me to be more accepting of others' weaknesses, and to offer support and encouragement in their journey of self-improvement. This lesson has significantly influenced my approach towards interacting with people, fostering a greater sense ofpassion and kindness within me.In conclusion, the video on 'weakness' was a profound and enlightening experience for me. It reshaped my understanding of weakness, encouraging me to see it as a catalyst for growth and transformation. It taught me to embrace my vulnerabilities, and to view them as opportunities for learning and self-improvement. Furthermore, it instilled in me a deeper sense of empathy and understanding towards others, enabling me to build stronger and more meaningful relationships. Overall, this video was a powerful reminder of the resilience and potential within each one of us, and it has left a lasting impact on my perspective towards life.。

Reflections on My Weaknesses in EnglishAs a non-native English speaker, I have always been acutely aware of my weaknesses in the language. English, with its complex grammar, idiomatic expressions, and nuanced vocabulary, has presented a formidable challenge for me. However, it is precisely these challenges that have driven me to continuously improve and push myself to become a more proficient user of this global language. One of my primary weaknesses in English has been my limited vocabulary. Growing up in a non-English-speaking environment, I have found it difficult to acquire and retain a vast repertoire of words. This has often hindered my ability to express myself precisely and eloquently, particularly in formal or academic settings. I have found myself searching for the right words to convey my thoughts, sometimes struggling to find the appropriate terminology to articulate my ideas effectively.Another area of weakness has been my grasp of English grammar. The intricate rules and structures of the language have often proven to be a stumbling block for me. Navigating the complexities of verbtenses, sentence structures, and grammatical agreements has required constant practice and vigilance. I have found myself double-checking my work, anxiously editing and re-editing to ensure that my sentences adhere to the expected grammatical conventions.Furthermore, I have struggled with the nuances of English pronunciation and intonation. The subtle differences in vowel sounds, stress patterns, and rhythms of the language have posed a challenge for me. At times, I have found myself self-conscious about my accent, fearing that it might impede effective communication or create a barrier between myself and native English speakers.Despite these challenges, I have made it a priority to address my weaknesses in English. I have actively sought out opportunities to immerse myself in the language, whether through reading a wide range of literature, engaging in conversations with native speakers, or consuming media in English. This exposure has gradually expanded my vocabulary, improved my understanding of grammar, and enhanced my overall fluency. Moreover, I have embraced the concept of continuous learning and self-improvement. I have enrolled in language courses, participated in language exchange programs, and sought feedback from instructors and peers. This feedback has been invaluable in identifying my specific areas of weakness and providing me withtargeted strategies for improvement. In addition to formal learning, I have also found that regular practice and a positive mindset have been crucial in overcoming my weaknesses in English. I have made it a habit to engage in daily writing exercises, journal entries, and even casual conversations with myself in English. This consistent practice has helped me to become more comfortable and confident in using the language.Furthermore, I have learned to approach my weaknesses with a growth mindset. Instead of seeing them as limitations, I have embraced them as opportunities for growth and development. I have recognized that improving my English skills is a lifelong journey, and I am committed to continuously learning and adapting to become a more proficient user of the language. In conclusion, my journey in overcoming my weaknesses in English has been a challenging yet rewarding experience. While the road ahead may still be long, I am determined to persist and to continue honing my skills. By embracing my weaknesses, seeking out opportunities for improvement, and maintaining a positive mindset, I am confident that I will continue to make progress and become a more confident and effective communicator in English.。

This is a can't-miss family movie. After all, EVERYONE seems to like inspiring family films--especially when it's based on real people. And, not surprisingly, I had a thoroughly good time watching it--though I do recommend you see it with a box of Kleenex nearby.
The film is about a young man named Michael Oher--an extremely large black teenager who has bounced from home to home in the foster care system. Currently, he's in a new school and no one realizes that he has no place to live. Yet in spite of having a crack-addicted mother, a father who was killed in prison and every other reason to be an angry powder keg, he's a very gentle and sad soul---who is also enormous and has amazing potential to play football.
A nosy but very nice lady (Sandra Bullock) convinces her husband (Tim McGraw) to bring Michael home...at least for the night. But this one night turns into a permanent living situation and he becomes an important part of the family. However, despite this new living arrangement working out well, Michael is so far behind in school and his GPA so low that he hasn't a prayer to play football in college. That's because although many schools are now offering him athletic scholarships, his GPA is too low to allow him to accept these offers. So, with his new family's help, perhaps he can pull up those grades and have a future.
This film is super-inspirational and sweet--mostly because it's true. I am sure that some poetic license was taken when making the film (I especially wonder if the little brother could be THIS precocious and adorable), but overall they did a good job of sticking reasonably close the facts. While I loved Sandra Bullock's performance (she's great as usual), I was a bit surprised that she received Oscar for it--I did see a few performances in other films that year that I thought were a bit better (such as the leading young lady in "Precious"). Also, Tim McGraw, while a lesser role in the film, did a surprisingly good job--especially as he's really known as a country singer, not an actor. All around, a very good film and one that is meant to inspire.。
