《典范英语》(4a-L7)教学参考
The Stars
教学参考的目的在于为实验课提供一个基本的思路和框架,帮助实验教师更好地把握课题理念。

课题组鼓励实验教师结合学生的实际情况适当做出调整,将实验课上出特色。

一、教学目标
1. 语言能力目标:学生能够听懂故事录音;能够惟妙惟肖地模仿录音;能够绘声绘色地独立朗读故事;能够理解故事情节;能够小组合作表演故事;巩固字母组合“ee”的拼读规律;能简单地改写故事。

2. 非语言能力目标:简单了解星座的概念和几种常见星座;体会晴朗夜空下看星星的乐趣。

二、课时安排
要求每周不少于两课时,每周至少完成一个故事。

三、教师要求
1. 教师课前须熟读故事,了解故事内容。

2. 对于较难的单词,教师可板书,并配合动作和表情帮助学生理解。

3. 全英文授课。

四、教学用具
多媒体设备、CD机、课件(课题组提供)、单词卡(weekend/need/see)。

五、课堂教学基本步骤
1. 导入(Lead-in):了解常见星座
通过听儿歌和观察星座图,让学生初步了解几种常见星座,激发学生对浩瀚宇宙的好奇心。

(1)教师播放英语儿歌Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,然后与学生互动:What is the song about?
It is about the stars.
Do you often look up at the stars at night?
(2)教师通过PPT展示星座图(the star map),让学生观察几种常见星座:
Look! This is a star map.
We can see some groups of stars.
They have different shapes. We call them constellations.(可告知中文释义)
Can you name any constellations? (请学生自由回答)
Look! This is the Great Bear. Does it look like a big bear?
This is Leo, the Lion. Does Leo look like a lion?
之后,自然引出故事:Are you interested in the stars? Biff, Chip and Kipper are very interested in the stars. One day, the children went up the hill to look at the stars with Gran. What could they see? Let’s learn the story.
2. 看图讲故事(Storytelling):理解故事情节,体会Gran和孩子们看星星的乐趣
教师利用课件逐幅播放故事图片,并用丰富的表情、生动的英文和适当的肢体语言给学生绘声绘色地讲故事,让学生和故事人物一起观察星座,体会夜晚看星星的乐趣。

(Picture 1)It was the weekend. Mum and Dad took the children to the Gran’s.
They would stay with Gran for the whole weekend.
Would Mum and Dad be with them? How do you know?
No. Mum and Dad were waving goodbye to Gran and the children.
(动作演示)
(Picture 2)“Can we go and look at the stars?” said Chip.
“Yes. It’s a clear night with no moon. Perfect!” said
Gran.
(Picture 3)“We need the sunbeds,” said Gran.(指向图中不同颜色的sunbeds)
Why did they need the sunbeds?
Because they can lie on the sunbeds to look up at the stars.
“Not sunbeds, Gran, starbeds!” said Biff.
(Picture 4)Gran and the children pumped up all the sunbeds.
What else did they take?
They took a torch and a star map.(依次指向Gran手中的手
电筒,Chip手中的star map)
Gran and the children went up the hill. Floppy went, too.(Picture 5)After a while, they found a good place.
They put the sunbeds down, and looked at the star map.
Gran told the children how to find the different stars and
constellations.
(Picture 6)“That’s the Big Dipper,” said Gran.(指向star map 中的北斗七星)
“It can help people find all the stars.”
What do you think the Big Dipper looks like? (请学生自
由回答)
“It looks like a cooking pot,” said Kipper.
(Picture 7)Now Gran and the children were all lying on the sunbeds.
They looked up at the stars.
“Look, there it is!” said Chip. “The Big Dipper.”
“And the bright stars there are the Twins,” said Gran.
(Picture 8)After a while, Gran and the children looked at the star map again.
Gran pointed to the star map.
“T hat’s Leo, the Lion,” said Gran. “And this is the
Little Dog.”
Look at Floppy. He walked towards the Little Dog.
“Get off, Floppy!” said Biff. “I can’t see.”
(Picture 9)Look at this picture.
Gran and the children all lay on the sunbeds and looked up
at the stars.
“I can see the Lion,” said Kipper.
“Well done, Kipper,” said Gran.
“There’s the Little Dog,” said Chip.
(Picture 10)Suddenly, Floppy jumped onto Chip.
Gran and the children all laughed.
Biff pointed to Floppy.
“And there’s the big dog,” she said.
教师要注意启发学生思考,每次提问之后稍作停顿,不要急于说出答案,先观察学生的反应,如学生仍回答困难,再进一步给出提示引导学生作答。

3. 听录音模仿(Listening and Imitating):听懂录音并模仿出标准的语音语调
听录音模仿时,录音是什么音什么调,就让学生模仿成什么音什么调,注
意模仿不同的人说话时的不同语气。

(1)放录音,让学生完整地听一遍故事,整体输入,不需停顿。

(2)放录音,全班学生齐声模仿1-2遍。

要求学生逐句跟读,鼓励学生大胆开口,读出戏剧化效果,读出感情。

4. 朗读故事(Reading Dramatically):读懂故事并学会绘声绘色地独立朗读故事
通过多种形式的朗读,让学生能够绘声绘色地独立朗读故事,培养学生有感情朗读故事的习惯,练就扎实的语言基本功。

(1)全班集体朗读。

教师组织全班同学齐声朗读一遍故事。

(2)分角色朗读。

请几位学生分别扮演Gran,Chip,Biff和Kipper进行分角色朗读,其他学生一起读旁白。

朗读过程中,教师要对朗读困难或有问题的学生给予指导和示范。

5. 检查理解(Story Comprehension):理解故事情节
教师提出问题,请学生根据故事内容作答。

问题及答案可参考:
(1)Who were the children with for the weekend?(They were with Gran for the weekend.)
(2)What did they do?(They looked at the stars.)
(3)Was the weather perfect for looking at the stars?(Yes. It was a clear night with no moon.)
(4)Where did they go to look at the stars?(They went up the hill.)(5)What did they take with them?(They took the sunbeds, the star map and the torch.)
(6)What did they see?(They saw the Big Dipper, the Twins, the Lion, and the Little Dog.)
(7)What did the Big Dipper look like?(The Big Dipper looked like a cooking pot.)
(8)Did they enjoy the weekend?(Yes. They had a good time.)
6. 表演(Role-play):模拟故事情景,体验看星星的乐趣
(1)准备表演
教师在PPT上展示角色及台词(见课件),并用戏剧化的语气示范朗读
台词。

将学生分成若干5人小组,确定要扮演的角色(Gran, Biff, Chip,
Kipper, the narrator),然后小组内练习表演。

教师要提醒学生注意
语音语调,鼓励表演者用恰当的表情和肢体动作表达情感。

(2)小组展示
请1-2组学生上台表演。

教师根据学生表演的情况给予及时的鼓励和指导。

7. 拼读练习(Practising Phonics):培养拼读意识,巩固字母组合“ee”的拼读规律
(1)教师出示单词卡:weekend/need/see,让学生找出共有的拼读规律。

(2)头脑风暴:以小组为单位,将含有字母组合“ee”的单词写在一张纸上。

写得最多的一组获胜。

(3)听写含有“ee”单词:need/feed/sheet/feet/sleep/sheep/keep/see/fee/week/seek,让学生练习“听词能写”。

8. 家庭作业(Homework)
(1)复印一张星座图,找一找故事中提到的星座,并标上英文名称。

(2)写一写上周末是如何度过的,可参考以下提示问题:
Who were you with for the weekend?
Where did you go?
What did you do?
Did you enjoy the weekend?
六、教师自我反思
1. 教学理念
是否体现了“以意义为核心”、“整进整出”的教学理念;是否将整体教学、启发式教学、拼读教学等方法贯穿于课堂教学之中。

2. 教学目标
是否实现了本课提出的语言能力和非语言能力等目标,如:学生是否能读懂故事情节;是否能用标准的语音语调独立朗读故事;是否能自如地表演故事。

3. 课堂操作
(1)提问
教师设置的问题是否符合学生水平,能否引起学生的兴趣;学生能否通过问题的引导观察图片并做出合理的猜测或想象。

(2)听
学生是否真正听懂了教师的问题和指令,并做出正确的反应;教师是否认真倾听了学生的反馈;是否发现了学生在朗读与表达过程中出现的问题。

(3)说
精品文档
教师说得多还是学生说得多;教师是否给了学生表达的机会;学生是否能回答和故事相关的问题。

(4)思考
课堂环节衔接是否流畅;教师语言是否易于理解;各项课堂活动的组织是否有序、高效;下一次课堂设计需要在哪些方面提高。
