Bin Kai Hong’s work, Dance of Fall responds to the seasonal themes after which Leftbank Development’s streets are named. In essence the piece is a culmination of seasons all in one. This contemporary piece, fabricated in stainless steel with paint finish, creates a sense of optimism and celebration with its spectrum of vivid colours, dynamic form and rhythmical pattern. It’s rising vertical form representing growth and prosperity. The 12 meter tall work draws people to the space and adds to the landscape by becoming a marker around which they can gather and meet.

Di Mauro, describes he artwork, ‘Drift’ in the following way: “Seedpod or cocoon, strobilus or chrysalis, perhaps from creatures with feathers or scales. Opened or closed, standing and taking flight, curled up and rolling back.”The sculpture evokes concepts of transformation and growth, change and renewal. It tells the story of regeneration of the site and of human history. It speaks of the dynamics of life itself.

Manufactured in hand-formed marine grade stainless steel the 5.5m tall sculpture is located at the key intersection of the IFC precinct, creating an iconic sculptural statement at the heart of the development.
