Dear Mike,
Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival in China, which celebrates the reunion of family members. It begins on the first day of the first month of Lunar Calendar and ends on the 15th. Before this festival, people always make a lot of preparations, such as cleaning the house thoroughly, decorating doors with red Spring Festival couplets, doing shopping for the new year and so on. On the eve of Spring Festival, family members always get together to have a big dinner. During the festival, people also pay a visit to their relatives and friends, known as“new—year visits”. After dinner, they watch the Spring Festival Gala and set off fireworks to welcome the new year. At that time, children are the happiest because they can get many red packets from their parents, grandparents and so on. Spring Festival, is such a cheerful and relaxing festival that everyone loves it.
Yours sincerely ,
