I like for you to be still，it is as though you were absent,

我喜欢你是寂静的，仿佛你消失了一样，

and you hear me from far away，and my voice does not touch you. 你从远处聆听我，我的声音却无法触及你。

It seems as though your eyes had flown away

好像你的双眼已经飞离远去。

and it seems that a kiss had sealed your mouth.

As all things are filled with my soul

It sounds as though you were lamenting, a butterfly cooing like a dove. 你听起来像在悲叹，一只如歌悲鸣的蝴蝶。

——秋林夕ㄨ走我非常喜欢这首爱情诗，无论是英文版还是中文版。它就像一个安静地等待和守候，更像一个永不破灭、憧憬美好的梦。中英对照赏析这首诗（个人见解）：

赏析：“Still”一词并不只是中文里简单的“寂静的”之意，他描述了聂鲁达对待爱情的一种状态，我会一如既往的喜欢你；我永远喜欢这样的你、现在的你和安静的你。这感觉宁静却不失热烈，复杂却显出单纯。这是多么令人向往和钦佩的爱情！

第一段：

赏析：我喜欢你，就像你消失了一样；就像你根本不存在一样。我一直静静地喜欢你，哪怕你有一天会从我的世界消失，试问：连失去都能坚守的爱还有什么可以阻挡？这是爱的崇高。接下来，聂鲁达说爱人听到他的声音（心意），但他却无法将声音（心意）传达给所爱的人。有些伤感和凄美。再下来，诗人知道这样寂静的爱情必然会失守，可是执着的诗人竟然实现了他的诺言，当爱人离她而去，他自己却觉得爱人并未远走，反而充满了诗人的整个世界。时时刻刻闪现在他的脑海、他的视线、他的心灵中，就像灵魂和梦（中国古代也有庄周梦蝶之典故，现代也有林夕对蝴蝶的理解；表明诗人对爱人深深的迷恋），总是与诗人同在。并且聂鲁达知道，每当想起所爱之人就会陷入忧郁，所以“忧郁”就和爱人的名字结为一体。因为失去所爱之人，以及恋而不得的暗恋（可能还是单恋）终会令自己受伤。自古无情便是多情，无恨（恨：遗憾）便不伤己，无爱便不伤人；而现在，无恨竟伤人最多，无爱竟伤己最重，以致自己无时无刻不想到爱人，无时无刻不陷入忧郁。也许就是这个道理！但是这样的爱，在诗人眼里是美丽的，在艺术的天空下也是光芒四溢。
