What are performance resins?
Materials that modify the viscoelastic profile of polymers, resulting in compounds with modified properties (e.g. glass transition behavior, dynamic modulus) without negatively impacting mechanical properties They are produced from petrochemical or natural feedstock
Wet grip
Regulations and tire labeling drives reformulation to optimize performance Many leverage technology in polymers, additives, and fillers Additives are vital to fine-tune tread performance at relatively low loading levels
