A small man wants to see a film,so he comes to a cinema. He buys a ticket and goes in. But after two or three minutes he comes out, buys a second ticket and goes in again.
After a few minutes he comes out again and buys a third ticket. Two or three minutes after that he comes out again and buys the fourth ticket.
But the girl says to him, "Why are you buying all these tickets?"

One day, Mrs. Black invites the Whites to have dinner again

she knows that Mr. White likes chicken and Mrs. White‟s favorite food is fish. So She buys chicken and fish. She also buys some vegetables and fruit. She wants to get everything ready for the dinner.

Last Saturday, our school organized a talent show to raise money for charity. It was a great success. Students took an active part in it and we raised 20,000 yuan in all.
After the show I interviewed three students. First, I talked with Liu Li. In the talent show, she danced the ballet（芭蕾舞）. “How long have you been dancing the ballet?” I asked. “For about six years.” she answered. “Why do you learn it?” “I think it‟s beautiful and I want to be a professional dancer when I grow up.”Next I had a talk with Zhao Qiang. When I was at primary school, I did one thing that I would never forget. At that time. My brother with I went to the same school, but he was three years old than me. I still remembered that day. I finished my final exam, but my brother didn‟t. We just had two exams, but he had two more than me. I was thinking whether I should wait for him or not when one of my classmates came towards,and said: “I will go home” And she continued, “You can go home with me ”.Without thinking too much, I went with her and I would come back when my brother finished his exams. I should tell them where I went and I shoud come home after palying.

Dick was a twenty-year-old man. His father was a teacher and taught chemistry in a middle school and his mother worked in a shop. They lived a happy life until his parents died one night when there was an earthquake(地震). Luckily his sister had taken him to see their aunt in the city and they were not at home. Everything was destroyed in the earthquake and the two children got into trouble. Thanks to their aunt, who was not rich, they grew up but they lived a hard life. Dick‟s sister was so sad that she became a nun(修女). After Dick finished middle school, he found a job in a hotel and began to work there. One day the young man fell to the ground while he was cleaning a window on the second floor. He was sent to the hospital and the doctor looked him over. One of his legs was broken and he had to stay in hospital. He said to the nurse, “ I‟m a poor man, madam. Arrange a third-class ward for me, please.”
“Can‟t any body help you?” she asked.
“No, madam,” answered Dick. “I have only a sister. She‟s a nun and she‟s poor, too.”
